Book Upcountry Maui hotels

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. Everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our experience. The staff was great overall, especially at the VIP lobby — we loved that concept. Having access to a better view and a larger room made our stay even more special. The food was also outstanding. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we don’t want to forget to mention the amazing snacks available throughout the day. The only aspect we would like to mention as an area for improvement is the pool service team, particularly those in charge of towels and umbrellas. Unfortunately, our experience with them — especially with Max — was not pleasant. The attitude often came across as arrogant and unhelpful, and it seemed like every request was treated as an inconvenience. We were traveling with a teenager who required some additional assistance due to using crutches, and sadly, the team did not show the level of care, kindness, or accessibility that we expected in those circumstances. We hope this feedback helps improve the overall guest experience, as everything else during our stay was truly exceptional.

It was actually better than advertised! I hope they're okay after the rainstorms, but during my visit, it was a lovely stay!

The staff are friendly. The amenities were great close to the beach some really great bars and restaurants nearby would definitely come again.

We had to switch to switch rooms because it smelled like a dog shelter. The next room was an improvement it it was showing it’s age. The maid service is every other day, if they show up. Staff was pleasant when they felt like it. There’s a daily resort fee whether you use the services or not. Beachfront is pretty spectacular. Also, we had a meal by the pool from the bar. Make sure someone doesn’t over indulge before you, because they just slip a bucket in it even though it still wreaks of vomit.

This hotel met and actually somehow went over any expectations we had.
