The room looks as if it was thrown together piecemeal but very long ago. On a day where the weather was -5 degrees and high winds, we had frigid air coming into the room through a 2 inch wide gap between the door and frame. When we arrived the desk person, or manager, was not aware of the fact we paid for early check in, that was a bit off-putting. All in all the building looks old and in disrepair. The room had smells coming in from neighboring rooms as those doors had poor seals as well. There was a food truck from the neighboring restaurant blocking our view out of the room and our direct parking spot, which on a frigid day makes a difference. The room had little to no lighting, as it only had the night stand lights. The shower had barely any pressure and the bathroom door had a 6 inch gap on the bottom and was cut to pieces. I understand this is the cheapest place around but for $200 a night I expected something more civilized than an old run down fishing shack. We had to use a chair with our coats stood up against the door to block the wind coming in. to combat this we had to have the heater on high which dried out the room to desert levels and we were unable to sleep the entire night. If this is what you get for $200 I'd rather spend 3 or 4 to never have this type of experience ever again. There were cobwebs in abundance and dirt that fell from the ceiling into the bath tub from the stompy neighbors above, who shook what seems like the entire building - into late night.
