Basic twin room. Hair left in shower outlet not nice to see. Comfy as bed but pillows very soft. Soap provided on day 2. Cleaner's Glen 20 left in room after clean on day 2. Breakfast was included. Basic but okay.

The hotel is absolutely fine with really friendly and very accommodating staff (eg storing luggage after check out). The room was fine and clean with a decent en suite, decent air con and a ceiling fan too. My only negative was a mosquito that kept buzzing me during the night, despite the insect screens on the window and door out into the courtyard. There was some noise at night from partygoers nearby (if it hadn’t been for the mosquito I might have slept through it). I didn’t use the available games room or the free coffee during the day, but they were good options for some of the guests. My expectation for the “complimentary breakfast” was fairly low, but I was proved completely wrong by a good variety of hot and cold food which was a good start to the day. The street immediately outside the hotel was a little run down, but a very short walk takes you to the upmarket Cowper Wharf and beyond that are the Botanic Gardens leading to the iconic Circular Quay, so the location is generally good. All in all, a good place to stay, decent rooms and good staff, certainly good value for money and pretty well located for some of Sydney’s highlights.

This hotel is definitely value for money, the rooms are clean and well equipped and the breakfast is excellent with a really good selection of hot and cold food. There is also a nice outdoor patio area on the 3rd floor and a lounge are on the 2nd. A perfect location for exploring Sydney, only a short walk to nice bars and restaurants as well as the Botanic Gardens. The only downside are the steep steps down to the hotel from Kings Cross Station. I would recommend a taxi if you have a lot of baggage.

A gem to find this lovely friendly place to stay. I had my 94 yr old mother with me & everything was easy & welcoming. We arrived on a late flight & were welcomed at the door, key access for late arrival was explained really well. There is a fabulous lounge area with tv, billiard table, comfortable seats & coffee machine. Great breakfast room as well with added outside area.

We had a wonderful stay at the marinas court hotel. Richard at reception went above and beyond for us and I can’t wait to come back there and stay again. Excellent staff, clean and comfortable rooms and in a very convenient location to walk to most venues.
