“The Egret” Newly Remodeled, Ground Level Condo

The condominium has been completely remodeled including the lock-out unit. We have upgraded the interior to include new refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave and range in the main kitchen. The mini-suite offers a new dishwasher and microwave. The remodel includes new flooring and counter-tops in kitchens and bathrooms new faucets and light fixtures and fresh paint through-out.
The condo is spacious, clean, and fully stocked with bed linens, wash cloths and towels-DO NOT take any towels or linens provided out of the unit. Guest must provide their own beach towels and/or beach blankets. There are ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms. The full-size kitchen offers everything you will need during your stay.
This spacious ground floor condo with central air/heat is beautifully decorated and provides 2 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom provides 2 queen size beds with new mattresses and wall mounted flat screen televisions. The living room includes a new sofa and love seat and mounted flat screen. The unit offers complimentary cable and internet. The kitchenette includes 6 chairs and there are 2 bar stools available at eat-in kitchen island.
Sea Trail Plantation offers amenities including 2 pools (small daily fee), 2 resident clubhouses, three 18 hole golf courses, restaurants, library, fitness center, tennis courts and community garden. The Sea Trail Village Activity Center (VAC) is open to the public. Wonderful stay. The location is beautiful. The place is lovely as advertised. The screened in porch was a great place to read and have coffee every morning. The beach is less than five min drive. The pools are large with hot tubs. Ellis the host is great at answering questions. There is so much to list. Goes without saying my wife is already looking at potential days to return to the egret.

Wonderful place.

Family Vacation

This property was wonderful and suited our needs well. We really enjoy the Sea Trail community because of all of the amenities that are offered. We spent time on the beach, at the pool, walking our dogs along the trails and on the pickleball/tennis courts. The condo was very up to date and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great multi Family Unit

This is a great multi- family unit. We are mid 50’s and were joined by my mother, our two 30 year old children and 1 grand-dog. Plenty of room and never felt to crowded. Pictures are accurate. We had Thanksgiving dinner here and had everything we needed to enjoy it. We did change out the HVAC filter as it was black and the new filters were in the closet. I felt unit needs more attention to dusting and sliding class doors need cleaning. The cleaning fee was a lot for the property not to be spotless.

We’ve always stayed beachfront and we’re a little unsure of how we would like the stay, but the location was perfect! Short distance to the beach, quiet neighborhood, everything nearby that was needed. Only two minor complaints, one being the bathtub looked as if it wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival (lots of hair), and we wish there were more pots and pans as we were cooking multiple things at one time and had to wait to wash/reuse. But overall we would 100% stay here again!

Perfect place for a family getaway

We booked this rental last minute when we decided to take a quick weekend family trip. My husband was very weary of where we stayed due to driving his motorcycle down for bike week. I reached out to the owner to see about parking and security. He almost immediately replied back and informed me of a safe location we could keep the bike if needed. We ended up not needing any security due to the safe area. The resort is very quiet, clean, and safe. We had no trouble at all during our stay. Our dogs absolutely loved sitting on the screened porch and watching the golfers, squirrels, birds, and even a few gators around the pond/lake on the golf course. The location to the beach was better than we expected. One exit of the resort is literally right beside of the bridge that takes you to the center of sunset beach. I can’t say enough about how awesome our stay was. We cannot wait to plan another stay in the Egret!

Condo in the Dark

It was very hard to locate the condo as it was dark. The only number you could see in the dark was a four on the building. I could not see the building number to correspond with my email. The linens on the bed and the towels were not very nice. I was unable to raise the heat and there were two very chilly days.

The condo is located in a great location and has been completely updated (other than the showers in both bathrooms). The master bathroom was not clean. The baseboards, doors and walls in the master bath were very dirty. The baseboards in the kitchen and living area were also dirty. There was some mold evident along the shower grout line. The entire unit needs a deep clean. We expected better for the price.
