Excellent stay!

We really loved our trip to Las Terrenas and this rental was a big part of that! The property is clean and well-maintained with a beautiful private garden. The pool was wonderful, the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs, and we were able to park our rental car inside the gates so everything felt secure. The location was great - a close walk to the beach and into town, but we did appreciate having a car to get to the larger grocery stores. The staff for check-in and check-out was also very good - clear communication and reliable. Getting to the town from the Santiago airport was a bit challenging on back roads - about three hours to travel 60 miles - but that was part of the adventure.

Amazing Month

We just came home after staying here for the month of February and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this villa is. It is exactly as in the photos and truly is a 4 minute walk to a beautiful long beach. The house was very clean, perfect size for 6 people, very quiet area and extremely safe. Marie Hélène made everything so easy. You can walk into town along the beach in just over 1km. There are such good restaurants there, an Italian Cafe and gelato shop too. Or you can go to your beach in the short walk and eat at any restaurant there. If you are planning to work remotely there are frequent power failures so be aware of the adequacy of the back up inverter system in any villa you rent.

What a vacation!! We rented the house for two months and had the best time. The house is everything you can expect, very safe, clean ,bright open outside & inside leaving, gorgeous pool and I can go on. The location was also beyond perfect, at about 45 second walk to the beach (Las Ballenas). Marie-Helen , Camille and all the team were so professional and so easy to deal with, ready to help at anytime ,day or night, and answering any questions we had. We're missing it so bad already. Hope to see you guys soon, again thank you so much for this wonderful vacation Josee & Stephan

Plusieurs petits soucis à régler, barbecue, le portail,La piscine et malheureusement pour nous les travaux d’un nouveau lotissement qui ont démarré et qui ne nous ont pas laissé de répit Nous étions obligés de partir la journée pour ne pas subir le bruit des travaux…Attention, notre avis n’est pas négatif sur la villa qui était belle et et confortable.Il faut se faire expliquer le système électrique pour éviter de se retrouver enfermé comme nous, suite à une coupure électrique mais la maison est très agréable à vivre Bon séjour, nous avons passé de belles vacances êtrélectriquesfrequentes

Un coin de paradis

Nous avons été accuellis chaleureusement par Manuel à notre arrivée. Il nous a fait faire le tour du propriétaire et nous avons découvert une superbe villa. Surprise! En plus de l'eau potable promise, un magnifique plateau de fruits tropicaux nous attendait. Par la suite, Manuel a répondu à nos demandes au besoin. Nous avons rencontré le jardinier et la femme de ménage qui ont fait un entretien impeccable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans ce magnifique endroit près de l'océan. Nous avons profité de la cuisine toute équipée pour préparer tous nos repas. Nous avons mangé un seul repas dans un très bon restaurant près de la plage à dix minutes à pied. Nous avons aimé le grand salon où nous avons découvert dans le meuble-télé une petite bibliothèque de livres en français (romans, guides touristques, etc) qui nous ont divertis pendant la soirée. La télévision donnait accès à des chaînes françaises, espagnoles, italienne, allemande, etc. mais la réception n'était pas toujours bonne. Nous avons bien dormi dans un très grand lit grâce à la ventilation et à l'air climatisé facile à régler selon nos besoins. Mais un des moustiquaires de la chambre a laissé passer quelques moustiques. La piscine bien entrtenue nous a permis de nous rafraîchir après chacune de nos randonnées à la plage et dans le secteur plus commercial de Las Terrenas. La plage était à cinq minutes à pied et tout était à moins d'une demi-heure de marche. Nous avons découvert deux supermarchés à moins de 10 minutes en auto. Attention aux motos, elles sont partout! En conclusion, un excellent séjour qui nous permis d'entrer en contact avec la culture de la République dominicaine.
