The woman who has Sandy blonde hair she wears up in a bun who works the breakfast area needs a raise and to be paid more for the great job she’s doing! 😄. She is on top of cleaning everything, checking that all food and supplies are stocked and in order. She is keeping everything in perfect order and I told her so.

Room was tired and poorly maintained: dirty-looking carpets (some patched with random duct tape that somehow felt like the hotel’s signature “charm”), uncomfortable mattresses, thick/narrow pillows that caused neck cramps, dusty surfaces with visible residue, and an unsettling asbestos popcorn ceiling. The rest of the property matched the vibe—rotting wooden gate and fence around the pool, general feeling of neglect everywhere. The one bright spot was Bobby at the front desk: friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast attendant, however, was the opposite. Despite front-desk approval to bring food upstairs for our sick kids (something every other hotel I’ve stayed in happily allows), she rudely stopped me, publicly argued with the front desk about two milks and two yogurts, and embarrassed us in front of other guests. Saved from one star only because of Bobby.
