Welcome to our charming, renovated weaver's cottage in the idyllic Franconian Forest, located right on the quiet outskirts of Elbersreuth. Nestled on a high plateau, around 550-600 metres above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains of the Franconian Forest and the Fichtelgebirge. This picturesque retreat is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy country life in all its splendour.

The interior of the cottage exudes cosiness and warmth, thanks to a wood-burning stove that provides a cosy atmosphere in the colder months. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining living area, which can also be used as a sleeping area. In addition to several sleeping options, including a popular sleeping loft in the attic, a walk-in shower/WC and a separate guest toilet on the upper floor increase the comfort for our guests.

Outside, a terrace with barbecue facilities, including a wood-fired grill, invites you to socialise in the open air. Surrounded by meadows and in the immediate vicinity of a local playground, our cottage is the perfect place for families to stay. Additional privacy is provided by a small, insulated log cabin on the property, which can accommodate two people.

The surrounding area of Elbersreuth is a paradise for nature and culture lovers. The location is an excellent starting point for hikes and cycle tours. From May to September, a raft trip on the wild Rodach river is a tempting option, and local festivals such as the Old Town Festival and the Whitsun Festival with citizens' festival enrich the cultural programme. Other excursion destinations such as the Plassenburg in Kulmbach or the toy museum in Sonneberg offer a variety of experiences for all age groups.
