Disappointing Experience – Would Not RecommendI don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but from time to time it’s necessary to help others make informed decisions.When I booked this apartment, I asked the host about the lack of reviews. She told me it was a new listing, but that it was a beautiful place and I would love it. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience.Arrival Issues:Before arriving, I asked if the host offered driver services. She said no, but that we could take an Uber. We did, but the Uber driver couldn’t find the location. I called the number provided by VRBO — no one answered. I messaged the host through the app, and she said she had sent instructions via a link, but I was never able to open it. We ended up lost in an area surrounded by abandoned warehouses until a kind stranger helped us find the property.Poor Access and Security:There was only one key in a lockbox, and the door lock was misaligned, making it very difficult to open and close. To exit the apartment, the key is also required from the inside, which made things inconvenient, especially when one person was sleeping and the other needed to leave.Interior Layout & Safety Concerns:The apartment was far from cozy and definitely not safe for children. It has an extremely narrow spiral staircase. My husband, who is a 220-pound bodybuilder, couldn’t comfortably or safely go upstairs — he ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs.Bathroom Size:The shower is incredibly small (28 inches by 2
