Excellent location, balcony opens to the water, doesn’t get any better. In room hot tub did not look clean, didn’t encourage anyone to use it even though that was why we chose this particular room type. Spider webs all over the ceiling.

When you book a regular room, you get sent a couple blocks down the road to what looks like a "renovated " motel. We were directed by a man who had absolutely NO personality and was not welcoming at all. Yes, the rooms face the ocean, but they are not high quality. We spent $200 on this room, which should have costs $75. Windows were dirty, shower base was very mismtched and uncomfortable on your feet. We fought with the heating system too. The microwave is sitting precariously ontop of the refrigerator, both were old. The bed seems comfortable and new. The furniture and flooring are new. But won't be staying here in the future.

I reserved a room that was supposed to be water side and was told that it was not the type of room I reserved so they asked if I would change to street side, which was fine, but they neglected to tell me that they had construction in front of the building so it was loud and inconvenient. I was told that my room would be ready at 4pm when check in was and when I arrived at 5:30pm I was told that my room was not ready so they again changed my room and the gentleman checking me in acted as though I was an inconvenience to him. My door in my bathroom was a pocket door and it did not shut properly, my sink did not drain properly and then the refrigerator froze everything no matter where it was. I informed the lady at check out of all of these things, but she already was acting annoyed with me because she had to hang up her phone from her gossip session. I have always loved to stay at this property but after this trip and how expensive it has gotten even with all the things wrong, including that there is no longer any breakfast, I will likely never stay with them again! Super sad.. because I am from the area and this place has historical significance... but one good thing.. the beds are very comfortable and they offer make up towels ... so there is that...

This is an awesome hotel. Right on the wayer, quiet, walkable to the main part of town. Gorgeous property. The room was spacious, clean and condortable. The best part of the stay was Jenni, my front desk associate at check in. She went above and beyond and gelped me have the best stay i could. Ill definitely be back

Port Townsend in Winter

Nice hotel. We had 2 queen room. We had a hard time getting the heat to work. And then bathroom door was broken. It was a pocket door and quite old so just got stuck half open. The shampoo in shower entirely empty and though the containers said Beekman Fresh Air products, it was something different in the bottles. Some of the literature was outdated—like way to contact front desk was wrong and the greeting letter talked about wearing masks. Just needs an update with some attention to a few repairs. For $169 a night it was fine but could have been even better.

The heater doesn’t heat the bathroom or tub if there aren’t a lot of guests. We noticed this because our first night there no one in the rooms next to us but the second night there were.

We just want to relax time, so choose the hotel in Port Townsend for our Valentine’s Day. The hotel is convenient location and dine out just 5 min away. It was nice experience for us!

Lacking the wow factor

The room had an amazing view but unfortunately thats one of only a couple good things about the room. The bathroom had used soap on the shelf with hairs attached to it and the tile on the walls, the floors need to be replaced as there is obvious damage in multiple places. The patio door is rather old and lets in a good amount of breeze. The blinds in the bathroom don’t work making it uncomfortable to shower even with frosted glass, I ended up taking towels and placing them over the blinds to add more privacy. The staff during the day was very unpleasant acting extremely bothered with any interaction. The door didn’t have a security lock and the hotel is located on the main road, as a single female traveling this was unsettling. I will say the bed was rather comfortable but also wasn’t clean, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in a good bit. I don’t think I’ll be booking this hotel again in the future.
