We had such a wonderful stay! All the staff were super welcoming and helpful. The property was very well maintained. Our room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. The room was also cleaned each day thoroughly, and we never ran out of towels. The minibar was also kept filled. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. We had a room with a tub and a jacuzzi on the patio, but we did not end up using them as we could not get the water to warm up more than just a bit - this would've been fine during the hot summer, but was a bit too cold to enjoy at the start of December. We spent a lot of our time at the adult side pool, where the pool bar bartender, Rene, was fantastic! He had our drink order memorized right away, day after day. Juan Carlos was also so fantastic in ensuring we enjoyed our stay, celebrating our anniversary and both of our birthdays! He ensured we had reservations at the restaurants, and each dinner was just superb! We took advantage of the coffee bar every day, and enjoyed our cappuccinos at the buffet! If you regularly use the gym, just note that it is a little small and gets filled up during the early morning, but generally clears up late morning. The main walkways throughout the property had many photo ops! And were all just so lovely. The walkway to the beach is just as lovely. Definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a beautiful place to relax!

Stayed at the Paradisus Playa Del Carmen with my family of 4 (kids aged 4 and 6) and we had a great time. Entertainment: Every morning there was an activity going on for the kid's (balloon animals, face painting, etc). It was super fun and the kids loved it! Edgar and Eduardo were especially great. In the evening, the kids had fun at karaoke night, movie night and the mini dance parties! Kidsdom (The kids club): The kids still loved hanging out here and they workers were very attentive. Thank you Angeles, Daniela, Denis, Odette, Yessenia, Yadira, Leticia, and Carlota for remembering my kids. The day we left, we stopped by to say our farewell, and they gave the kids little treat bags with Mexican candies! Pirate Pool/ Aquazone: The kids loved the Pirate ship pool because the water wasnt super deep so they were able to play around easily. HUGE shoutout to our pool server, Socrates! He gave us food and drink recommendations (fish tacos, chicken burger and guava margarita!) He even went as far as searching for the guava flavoring when the Pool bar didn't have it. He was amazing! Aquazone was super fun for not only the kids, but as adults too! Food was freshly grilled upon ordering! Room: We didn't book family concierge and still had a good room. Snacks were fully stocked each day! Food: We were pleasantly suprised by the food quality! Capellas was our favourite! Nube bar had the best drinks. Overall I would recommend to families with small kids!

Jonathan as our concierge was excellent, along with everyone else working there. Amenities, pool, and entertainment were great. Food was OK. Quality of entries at the a la carte restaurants were hit-or-miss, though the buffet was consistently good. Room service got at least one part or order wrong every single time, and the app didnt work well. Inspite of all that, we had a great time

Here’s a more natural, polished version: Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good food. Plenty of activities for kids. The beach is awesome—no sargassum or big waves in late November 2025—and there’s lots of shade under the palm trees, plus beach activities included in the room rate. The pools are clean and warm. The resort has a nice design and is beautifully integrated into the jungle.

What a gorgeous property. I felt so connected to nature during my stay because this property is built within a mangrove. Tons of shade everywhere when you want to get out of the sun and the cutest little Coatis throughout the resort. I love that this hotel was small enough to have everything easily accessible and there was not a need for golf carts to get around like some other massive resorts. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They are so hospitable. Special shout out to Omar. He met our family right when we arrived and he was checking in throughout our stay helping with everything from reservations to beach chairs. If you get him, you’re lucky and make sure you take care of him. He works super hard. The hotel has so many activities and a beautiful kids club for the little ones. Unfortunately mine are too old to enjoy but nonetheless he had a great stay. The architecture and property is incredibly beautiful. All the restaurants are very pretty as well. If I had to pick something to complain about it it would be that the drinks can be watered down at the beach, they don’t serve food at the beach, and the Mexican restaurant Cielo was a big miss for us. I would also like to have seen the older kids be allowed in the adults only restaurants, maybe 16 years old and up. The beach was a little rocky in some areas and the water maybe not as blue as I’m used to in Mexico but that might be because of the seaweed season that just ended. We would definitely come back here
