Staff is my favorite thing about this resort. I also love Mike's Coffee, the ice cream shop and the food- it's so good! All the included activities are a definite plus. There is always something fun to do.

Cleaning and fridge staff were friendly and courteous as well as some of the bartenders. One day use the pool and we waited about 30-40 mts and no waiter came around..try to schedule appointment to the Japanese restaurant and it was closed as well as the buffet. Not very many food selections.

The Ocean Maya Royale was one of the best all inclusive resorts me and my husband have stayed at. The food was great, the room was clean, and the staff was fantastic! The shows and daily activities were fun. The beach was nice as well. The sports bar bartenders were awesome! Room service was a nice perk. Plus loved having all of the hotel info located on the app!

I will say the resort is beautiful, very clean and nice staff. But the food was not good. The only restaurant we enjoyed was the hibachi and the buffet (but even that was hit or miss). Also, definitely more of a resort for older white people. There was barely any diversity in race or age.

Loved the atmosphere. Beautiful plants and displays to take pictures with. Music plays outside along the walkways adding to the serene atmosphere.
