The staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to a wonderful patio room with an ocean view, a complimentary bottle of wine and bathrobe. The room was sparkling clean. The complimentary breakfast was great with an ocean view where we watched the sea lions and birds play. We even saw a pelican flying by. We didn’t use the pool or other hotel extras this time but will be sure to next time. Highly recommend this hotel - truly superb.

The room was nice and big. The bed was ever so comfy. We had a king bed. The amenities were nice but would have appreciated a fridge, microwave and safe. Our sink had a big crack in the bowl, and the handles were back to front. We did mention to reception on our way out just as an FYI. We did not realize that Grossman's Noshery was part of the hotel. Very nice restaurant and bar but closes at 6 or 8. Totally appreciated the bottled water. The first night was quiet but the second night we had a very loud couple, who left their second story French doors open with a radio playing while they proved their fondness for each other if you follow my drift. We were on the ground floor. That started at 2AM and didn't end till 5AM. At first wasn't sure what to do, sounded like someone might be getting harmed. Thought about calling, but who do you call and what could they do ey? Otherwise, room was very clean and again, that bed was ever so comfy.

Staff helped a few friends and I have a wonderful long wellness weekend. The one and only thing that was not up to par was the female manager who answered the phone early Saturday morning - she was extremely rude- no customer service whatsoever. I don’t understand why she works in hospitality at all. She’s not fit to lead a fantastic team.

The room did not have a clean welcoming vibe. The room needs a complete renovation.its old snd lacked amenities that are normal in a room. No shampoo, no body wash, no iron or ironing board. The tv did not work , noisy ice machine, top floor I was I. Bottom Room 101, could hear every step taken in room. Telephone not working. The sink had. An old fashioned rubber stopper , you could see all the way down the sinkhole drain. The electric plug was broken in half… one queen size bed was broken, it felt like a 250 lb person had dented tge mattress forever, could not spring back up. Te drapes wee disheveled and to top it all off the KEY was a real key to the room. I woke up with a back ache sns slept miserably. The only positive is thst you could walk to little places to getaway ftom the ugliness of the room. It was a total disaster. I would notice this hotel,
