We stayed at the end unit, first floor. The pool area was so loud at night. There were 2 children's birthday parties during the few nights we were there...kids squealing and yelling, parents hollering at their kids. I don't mind voices, normal tone talking, but the parties went on until the very last call which was exhausting. I needed that vacation to unwind and it was pretty exhausting tbh. But staff was helpful and efficient, room was clean.

Nice

Nice room and clean but the hotel staff are not very friendly or welcoming. The towel system is very odd you have to trade your towels at the front desk for clean ones. Overall worth the price. You get what you pay for.

Great location with good amenities

The building is just feet from the beach, with 2 pools a lazy river and a hot tub. O. The 3rd floor is a laundry room(coin operated) and a small gyn area. Movies were free and so was breakfast (magnolia restaurant just about half a city block away) all you can eat buffet with great food! The room we got was cozy with a balcony and everything you would need (tv dvd player. Microwave. Small fridge. Etc.) The staff was awesome and they NEVER bother you if you dont ask for something. Which for us was an amazing change from the wake up calls some places do. We loved the week at the Carolinian and plan to do it again next year.

I’ve had better rooms at the red roof Inn!!

The tub was busted in the bathroom. There was no hot water. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken The hallway was incredibly loud. The side door that was supposed to be locked wasn’t. And your security guard and their walkie-talkies made me feel like I was in prison. There’s no need for them to have their walkie-talkies turned all the way up the place was miserable,I can’t believe you get away with this.

Rest well

We loved access to the beach and the amenities. The main complaint was room proximity to a hallway with an outside door next to our room being accessed all times of the night causing the door to slam shut each time. There was a noisy vending machine just across the hall that was also accessed all times of the night. Obviously sleep was interrupted. There was no way to know this before booking that particular unit. Otherwise the room was ok.

The property stated no smoking people smoking left and right this needs to be reinforce. On our checkin day we had two people that helped us they were Jamaicans didn't get the names but they were very helpful. Overall its Decent for what we wanted to do.
