For the past year or so, I've stayed at the Bison a few days, every month. It's a very quaint, affordable, and comfortable hotel. I like the location, everything just about, within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The waffles for breakfast everyday is a huge perk!!

Overall conditions were decent. The cable wasn't working in our room and the front desk clerk had no idea how to fix it so she gave us a different room. Breakfast options were minimal. Morning front desk employee was not personable at all. The "exercise room" only has a treadmill and a bike, also has end tables and comfy chairs in it which is not the best use of the space in my opinion. Could be better used for a few free weights or something else that belongs in an exercise room.

Budget hotel

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. This is a budget hotel. The carpet is worn and the bathroom toilet was not clean. The window was left open so it was freezing!

I stayed for just one night as a halfway point on a road trip. It’s a really fair price for a hotel room. The front desk staff was really kind and welcoming. The room, overall, was decent. Clean and comfortable for the most part, but the carpet seemed like it needed a very thorough vacuum. There was a hair or two in the shower. And lastly, a sliver of the front door in the bottom left corner was missing, which let light in from the hallway. I assume people in the hallway would be able to see if someone was in the room if the lights were on, which didn’t give me a huge sense of security.
