A perfect location for getting around by tram or train, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We did have an issue where the bed sheets were not changed on schedule (Not changed after 5 days when it should be every 3 days) and when we reported this and requested the bedding be changed the desk staff were indifferent and unapologetic.

The overall stay was OK, the room was clean and comfortable. We weren’t aware until after we checked in that there was no room service available during January, and this was not mentioned by staff at check in either which was disappointing.

The noise level at this hotel made it difficult to rest. Between the sound of doors constantly slamming in the hallway, a loud, buzzing refrigerator, and even a squeaky toilet seat, the lack of soundproofing and maintenance was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are a light sleeper.

Room was spacious and clean, the hotel close to everything and across the biggest train station Southern Cross in Melbourne. Good coffee shop next door (code black) and trams. Overall highly recommended an will def stay here again when back in Melb next time.

The hotel is well positioned, the hotel had some issues with the resturant being closed. The food we did get was not great.We had hoped to check in early aafter a late night flight and understand that early check in is not always possible.
