Always enjoyed staying at Stamford and have done so over the years. The rooms are beginning to show their age and do need a refresh which is a minor technicality. Everything is always clean. Staff are lovely. Beds are super comfy. The addition of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers as a fixture was great and the product was exceptional. Thanks Stamford.

I've always wanted to stay at the Stamford Plaza since I started working around the area in the early 2000s. It did not disappoint. A little old style Melbourne. It reminded me of hotels we've stayed at in New York and San Francisco. The king suite was well appointed and room service was pretty good.

No hot water Advised by 2 different people that would let us know what was going on .Ended up going to reception where they were still just apologising until manager interviened and gave us another room. No mat on ironing board no coffee in room Sorry but was looking forward to a 5 star experience but was disappointed.Would expect less of a cheaper hotel

The Property in itself is great, excellent facilities. its located in a good spot all depends on what you are looking to see overall. Main issue which would have left a lot of people upset is that there was only one lift working which meant there were delays in exiting your level (up to 30 minutes) and no alternative exit plan offered. There were people setting off fire exits at all hours of the day in frustration of wanting to make their way out. it supposed to have been a relaxing stay however it was overshadowed with thoughts of having to go through this inconvenience in for the duration of our time at the Stamford.
