I paid extra for an ocean view room. I was given a room with a tree right in front of the window. The hotel refused to give me a different room or refund the money I paid for an ocean view room. The room should have been sold as a “partial ocean view.”

The room was clean and the staff very helpful. Seemed at times to be a bit musty and we used the dehumidifier a lot. Looks like it needs to be updated but it was comfortable and just what we were looking for. Felt their could have been some dishes and silverware to go with the microwave and frig and kitchen area to enhance things but overall very pleased. It also looked like they were doing some improvements overall. We were disappointed that laundry was not available and working as that was a reason for our decision. But there was a great laundry close by so it worked out fine and they directed us there. A lovely place with the park and beach right there and sunset at the bar!

We booked an ocean-view room with two queen beds; however, the beds felt more like doubles, and the view was only partial ocean. The room size itself was decent and comfortable. Complimentary coffee was available in the lobby every day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., which was a nice touch. The on-site restaurants offered good food options and were very family-friendly. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient, especially being so close to the airport. A special mention to Curtis on the staff—he was very friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor.

The manager Tiffany at the front desk was absolutely awful. No hospitality or service in sight with her around. Took her well over 30 plus minutes to check me into my room. I get into my room and the floor is completely wet. She comes and looks at it touches the floor and says nothing. No apology. No. Sorry about the inconvenience. Tries to put me in a room that was not facing the ocean which is what I paid for. No sorry. Ended up staying in the room with the wet floor. She's awful. Hotel is good

Very disappointing stay. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell that made it uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. On top of that, the hotel charges extra fees for almost everything. Pool towels must be returned directly to the front desk — you can’t leave them in the room or anywhere else — and if you don’t do this exactly as required, you get charged. Parking is also not included and costs extra, which feels unreasonable given the already high room rates. Overall, this hotel is way too expensive for what it offers. Definitely not the value you’d expect from a Hilton brand, especially in Kauai.
