July and August: Reservations are accepted from Saturday to Saturday only. No exceptions.

This old Auvergne peasant house from the beginning of the 19th century, was completely renovated in 2017, in order to best meet current requirements of comfort and comfort while preserving its Auvergne charm and character. Combining modernism and old-fashioned character, this approximately 100 m² gite can accommodate up to 6 people.

The ground floor consists of a large and pleasant living room with its "cantou" (Auvergne fireplace) equipped with a pellet stove, and a scorcher:

The fully equipped kitchen with 3-burner induction hob, pyrolysis oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Senseo brand coffee machine, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, citrus press, etc ... will make you feel at home, allowing you to prepare good little Auvergne dishes.

The lounge area is made up of 2 sofas, a flat screen TV with TNT satellite reception, a Hi-fi AM / FM Tuner (+ classic audio connection allowing you to connect any mobile phone / MP3 player / laptop with headphone output), DVD player (DVD / CD / CD-MP3).

The bathroom with separate toilet is also on the ground floor. It consists of a large shower cubicle, sink, heated towel rail, hair dryer, washing machine and storage cupboard. (Iron and ironing board available)

... upstairs are the three south-facing bedrooms overlooking the valley:

A first bedroom equipped with 3 single beds (mattress 90 x 190 cm), double wardrobe and storage.

The master bedroom with its 140 x 190 cm bed, double wardrobe, cupboards, clock radio.

And finally, a third pass-through bedroom providing access to the parental bedroom, is made up of 2 single beds (mattress 90 x 190 cm) with wardrobe.

(A folding baby bed and a high chair are available on request / specify when booking).

In the upstairs staircase hall, a computer with Internet access is also available. WIFI access is available for your equipment.

Equipment provided for each bed: pillow 60 * 60 cm, duvet + blanket.

Up to this day, we liked to look at the stars from the gite, in a very dark night, but recently, an amateur astronomer vacationer, gave us his comments, as well as some photos related to the announcement, on the particular situation of the lodging concerning the observation of the stars. We also thank him very much.

"Your gîte benefits from a very high quality night sky (no light pollution) with an unobstructed view to the south. I tell you because I am an amateur astronomer (and I really enjoyed myself!), and I know that it is a criterion of choice for many of my companions, and apart from the lamppost which remains on in the hamlet (without however hampering the observation), your lodging is 100% compatible with the criteria of astronomy , very dark sky, clear view on the south, high altitude. "
