Holidays in Labrador

You'll probably regret that fourth whiskey and devouring that 4 a.m. kebab, but you will never regret travel. So we think it’s about time you made your way to Labrador, Gold Coast! With around 600,000 people living in the city, get ready to meet a few friendly locals. From the centre of the city, Labrador is located 8 kilometres to the north. You'll most likely be arriving from Brisbane Airport, so after you've found your suitcase you'll need to make tracks 70 kilometres to the southeast.

Labrador is a wonderland for sightseers. A great deal of the city's attractions are dotted near this unique neighbourhood, including Sea World and Warner Bros. Movie World. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to continue on to Wet'n'Wild Water World and the Star Gold Coast. For a different perspective on the city, head to Biggera Waters and Chinatown, close-by neighbourhoods that are definitely worth a peek.

Are you looking for memorable things to do in the city centre? Cavill Avenue and Surfers Paradise Beach are great places to circle on your map.

The area's numerous cultural places, such as the Draculas Haunted House, the Arts Centre Gold Coast and the Spirit of Gold Coast, really can't be missed!

The fairways of the Lakeside Country Club, the Parkwood International Golf Course, the Royal Pines Resort Golf Course and the Southport Golf Club are calling. Practise your swing, challenge some friends to a few rounds and try to knock some strokes off your game.

Nothing beats holidaying with energetic kids to keep you young in spirit. Join them on an outing to the Wax Museum and Gold Coast Aquatic Centre.

Are the kids starting to getting tired of all the history and culture? Take a break and visit one of the action-packed family attractions you can find nearby. Slingshot, Timezone, Infinity Attraction and King Tutts Putt Putt are some well-known choices.

One of the most appealing things about this suburb is its nearby public parks. Amid all the activity, you won't struggle to find somewhere to relax and recharge. Philip Park, Broadwater Parklands, Doug Jennings Park and Parklands Gold Coast are great options.

There's nothing quite like indulging in a bit of retail therapy. Grab your credit card and make a stop at Harbour Town, Australia Fair Shopping Centre, Marina Mirage Shopping Centre and Centro Surfers Paradise.

Wander back though the mists of time at Sand Pumping Jetty and the Anzac Park. These time-weathered places have a range of illuminating stories to share.

Get ready to wear your red, gold and blue and cheer as passionately as you can. Home to the Gold Coast Suns, Metricon Stadium is the place to get your fill of Australian rules football (AFL) entertainment.

Hotels in Labrador

There are more than 247 Labrador hotels listed on lastminute.com.au. With such an awesome range to choose from, locking in that perfect place isn't going to be hard!

If you'd rather spend cash on adventures than on a hotel, the Zenith Ocean Front Apartments and the Broadwater Tourist Park are two places you should check out. You may also want to look into the Palazzo Versace and the Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise. These high-end hotels are for those who'd like to live like a king or queen while they're here.

If you'd like to stay closer to Sea World, the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast and the Sea World Resort are two of your best options.
