Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This hotel is beautiful and historic. Note that all the rooms require going up/down stairs. I did not see an elevator (and I did look for one). The hotel was quiet and calm and perfect for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was lighter than some other places we stayed in Denmark and Sweden, but absolutely enough food, good variety, good coffee, and very high quality food. The soft boiled eggs were the best I have ever had, and I eat a lot of eggs. The hotel has a ton of wine options and beers on tap. Dinner at the hotel seemed very pricey (but fancy); we did not indulge. The bed was comfortable and the room heated up quickly once we turned the heaters on. The water pressure was good and there were no disturbances at all. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and the views are unbeatable. The surrounding area is quaint and calm. The grocery/department stores were an easy walk from the hotel. There is good thai takeaway food in the same complex. It is 1.5 hours by transit from the CPH airport. There is a beautiful harbor to walk to.

Summary. Nice Get Away Location But Underwhelming Experience ----------Pros: Nestled in quaint thatched roof cottage community along lake with beautiful sunset views. Ample free parking on site. Good hot and cold breakfast served on site and great dinner available at hotel restaurant. Common areas had nice character and were well maintained. Ample electrical outlets for charging. Great shower water pressure and temperature. ----------Cons: WIFI signal was so poor we could not maintain any internet connect from our room. We had to go to common areas for better signal, which was very inconvenient for digital picture uploading, researching area, and movie streaming. Room moderately sized but dated. Room is not sound proofed, and you could hear everything outside the door and down the hall easily. Bed was uncomfortable and led to back pain. Not really near other dining options. Problems with prepaid Orbitz reservation caused double charge and was very difficult to rectify. Expensive for what you get.

This place has a great view and was quiet after 10 pm. It took about 20 minutes before someone helped check in at the front desk because they were having a party in the dinning area.

Overall ok

Room was ok, but not as clean as expected (e.g. an empty cola bottle was left under the bed). Great beds and a nice view of the bay. Breakfast was good, but came 1/2 hour later than ordered and with tea instead of coffee. On the other hand I got breakfast for two persons and was brought coffee and milk within 10 min. All in all an ok stay.

Excellent couples night with SUP

Amazing views and service. We had a blast because of the lovely weather and the beach. The water is lovely and the hotel offers SUP-boards for a water-trip. I think the hotel is a little overpriced and the rooms are worn and restrooms are lacking some maintenance.
