While the gentleman at the front desk was pleasant, he assigned us a room that he knew was garbage. The thermostat was broken and in disrepair, so no heat; the fan did not operate at all; the toilet did not flush; you could see daylight around the side and bottom of the door, so cold air was coming through. The water pressure and temperature were pathetic.
I went back to the front desk and after watching him check in several new customers, he assigned me a new room. Instead of a single queen sized bed, he assigned a room with two double beds for my wife and me. Although the room was clean, the water pressure was barely enough to get wet in the shower and the water temperature was barely luke warm - both perfect for a miserable shower in the morning.
I will never darken the doorway of another Motel 6.
