Nice location to down town. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Room and property not up to expectations. Very old and run down building. Parking was difficult.
Just want to start this off by saying the staff are superb and so friendly.
When booking through Expedia we paid extra to have breakfast and parking included. When we arrived they had it noted that we’d paid for breakfast but not parking. Showed my booking and this was fine but they didn’t know this was a thing.
Wasn’t informed until 24 hours before stay that the pool/sauna was closed and our booking was non refundable so couldn’t even change hotel. Really disappointed - Expedia info should be changed to reflect this.
Doors need silencers or something, I was woken up so much by slamming doors or people chatting right outside my room. Room covered in scuff marks. No AC or fan so had to keep window opened up all night - which meant being woken up by birds or folk working in early morning.
Breakfast was just fine. Food was okay but anytime we went down it was looking a bit dirty around food (cereal everywhere, crumbs, spilled food). Carpets all over hotel (especially the staircase) looking really tired and worn. The money paid just didn’t equate to amenities received.

Liked: Cleanliness
The rooms were very dated. No charging outlets for electronics. Our TV was the size of a small computer monitor.
The rooms were not indicative of the price charged.
Having said that the staff were amazing and we loved the lounge.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Unfortunate that at check in we were informed of the leisure facilities being closed which was one of the main reasons for booking. £6 parking fee also levied at check in. Pleasant and helpful staff. Partially renovated but still some areas needing attention. Need queen linen for bed not just stretched king sheets! Room was clean and a great size. Outside needs a tidy up. Good breakfast.
Easy check in. Quick walk into the center of Inverness but far enough out to be quiet. Good parking. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast and comfortable bed. Doors need dampers as slam loudly, hotel needs a refurb. Had everything we needed in the room. Can walk into town in 20 mins. Shouldn’t have to pay for parking if you are staying there.

The decor and furnishings in the living and dining are comfortable and cosy. Feels like sitting in a cosy cottage.
The hotel is well located in walking distance of the city centre and some nice places to eat. The rooms are small and comparatively expensive but this is the UK where everything is over-priced. The restaurant is nice and the staff super helpful- they made sure I was able to use a large, thickly carpeted room to do a 90 minute yoga session uninterrupted.
Started with a bit of a hiccup after we checked in but was very promptly resolved by Kristy the duty manager, so thank you. This hotel has very, very helpful friendly staff everywhere, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and clean, the breakfast had a good range and the location was very handy.
Disappointing is the word I’d use. Expensive and not worth it. Old towels, old bedding, hard flat pillows. Our window did not open. Good breakfast
We were not asked “how was our stay” on check out. I guess they didn’t want to hear the answer? I would not recommend this hotel
Staff was great. Our room had nice shower pressure. The only issue I had was that there wasn't much to protect the bathroom floor from the shower water splashing and puddling on the floor. The room itself could have used a refrigerator, and more accessible outlets for phone charging at bedside. I would stay here again.
