Room was clean, spacious and provided everything needed for a short city break. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We also were able to store our luggage as arrived early & then wanted to stay in the city after checking out too. Well positioned for everything to do in Edinburgh.

Breakfast options were good but buffet layout is chaotic and needs reviewed to make it more efficient for guests and staff. Initial room allocated was ground floor but in reality was below ground, it felt cold and unpleasant. 2nd room was on 6th floor, it was a big improvement but air was stale with no way to refresh it. Unlikely we will stay here again even though the location is excellent.

The air conditioner would continuously shut off, the fire alarm would brightly blink every 30 seconds, and the room could hear everything around it. However the staff was good and nice, the breakfast was good and the location was superb!

The room smelt unclean when we arrived and was just generally a bit dated. The walls were so thin and could hear EVERYTHING going on in the rooms either side (not great when we had 2 young children in the room). The breakfast wasn't good either.. The staff were polite and location was good but I wouldn't be rushing back .
