Great Staff

Comfortable beds. Had a 30th floor room and the view was pretty cool. Staff is so super friendly. Had a late meal at Fireside and my server was very accommodating. Love Ameristar.

Ameristar Hit the Mark

We wanted a little one night getaway from the Denver area as a belated birthday trip, and Ameristar filled the bill brilliantly. Great staff, fine place to eat, superb pool and hot tub area at the top, very upscale ambiance all the way around.

Could be so much cooler

The hotel was fantastic. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the bathroom was great too. It was super clean. My major complaint was how hot it was. The hallways to the rooms were cooler than our room itself. I tried tonturn the AC down over and over andnit wouldnt budge. It is so uncomfortable to sleep in a room and be sweating in your sleep.

Very beautiful hotel and casino. The size of the room and bathroom is large making it feel more luxurious to stay in. We had a great view of the mountains and other casinos.

Booked via Expedia. When booked, the total given by Expedia was $10 less than what the Ameristar charged me. When I asked if they would adjust it to match my receipt, the manager, Michelle said NO and that I would have to contact Expedia to resolve it. She wouldn’t make the call herself, and would not even give me a $10 food voucher, and she told me she wouldn’t do anything to make it right and said it’s my problem. She should not be in management and I have too many other places I can stay in Blackhawk if I ever stay the night. I am almost inclined to never go back and spend any money there after this, plus spending money at the restaurants and losing more in their casino. That’s the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had.

Love staying at Ameristar.. courteous staff, easy parking and great rooftop pool and hot tub! You never need to leave this place... great casino, great food, a Starbucks on premises and the rooms are luxurious.
