Power was out in all of Black Hawk when we arrived. Instead of being helpful and letting us know the staff was extremely rude and dismissive. When we were finally able to check in the line was extremely long and everyone had to wait hours to get a room. The staff treated all guests rudely while checking in. No consideration that guests had waited hours just to check in, no other accommodations were offered. All over terrible experience and we won’t be staying at a hotel that treats guests so poorly.

Rooms are clean but NOT spotless, there was very little staff attentiveness while on the floor playing slots. Tried to go to bar to get a drink because they never came around or there were very few of them and the tenders never looked in our direction. We tried that twice and decided to leave. Slots were also ungiving. Spent a lot of money. Order food service and that could have been better.. probably go to a different lodge to stay next time.

The room was very clean the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were there after a couple day power outage so it was a little bit chaotic checking in as the power had just been turned back on but the staff did amazing
