The views from the deck were incredible! The hot tub on the deck was perfect! The cabin was clean and decorated nicely. The beds were comfy. No complaints. A nice addition would be to leave some instructions as to how things work (hot tub etc...) The road to the cabin is not for the faint of heart but the views are worth it! Would definitely recommend & stay here again!

Positives: 1. Place is very nice and is very secluded 2. Absolutely gorgeous views (better than advertised) 3. Wrap around porch is awesome Negatives: 1. Master bed is extremely hard making it difficult to get a good nights sleep 2. Didn’t supply enough towels for our 4 night stay. Access to a washer and dryer would eliminate this issue 3. Smoke detector went off in the middle of the night (changing batteries on a regular basis would eliminate this issue)

Do not recommend this cabin. Overall disappointed . The Veiw at the cabin was beautiful, and that’s what we enjoyed. (When we could enjoy it) The cabin itself needs a lot of Maintenance and attention. There were hundreds (not exaggerating) of carpenter bees outside/on the cabin and some got inside as well as wasps.. We could barely get in and out of any door without them flying at our face. We were unable to enjoy the view on the porches without bees all over us. The only time we were able to be on the porches without being swarmed was at night. (When you can’t see the Veiw). We also had to deal with a mouse problem. I walked outside to grab something as I was cooking and had stuff out on the counter and came back in to a mouse on the counter in the food! Then as we were trying to enjoy a movie one ran across the floor! All of this made it very difficult to relax.. which is what the whole point in the get away was for. We built and live in a true log home in the woods and know these things can happen but we also know what you have to do to keep them from happening and this cabin has not been maintained at all.. It’s not acceptable, especially for a rental that people are paying money to stay in.. We are disappointed in our stay at this cabin and will not be back. We have been staying in cabins in the smokies for 13 years and have never seen experienced this. I have never left a negative review. Also the communication with property management was basically nonexistent.
