A road that goes through the woods of oak and old chestnut trees, in a crossed by man but nature still wild, the 'Azienda Agricola Il Nido di Luca Ciancianaini is a place and a quiet space and quiet, to spend an holiday away from the rhythms and bustle of modernity. It 'a big newly renovated house on top of a hill. The magnificent location is enhanced by the large swimming pool located in front of the house, from where you can enjoy an amazing view over the natural amphitheater of the imposing Apuan Alps. Away from traffic, the property is bordered on one side with a small old village, and the other is completely surrounded by woods. To the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the place, it combines a relaxation area consists of a fitness room, sauna and sensory tub. The entire property is fenced and the access regulated by the closed gate. Around the house the activities in the farm for the production of some local produce (vegetables, jams oil) made with passion, respecting natural and environmentally friendly techniques rhythms. Situated between the natural park of the Apuan Alps and the National Park of 'Apennine, the property is about 35 km from the sea. The location is strategic to visit the area of ​​5 Terre but also the hinterland of Tuscany, in the areas of Garfagnana and Lunigiana: wilds, but rich in historical sights (castles) landscape (streams rivers, narrow Giaredo, lakes, mountain) and unforgettable flavors. Easily reached by own means also Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena and many other Tuscan destinations not to be missed. Lastly, the Aulla station is about 15 km away, and can be considered a good alternative for traveling to other tourist centers.

Rustic tranquility with beautiful views

Il Nido offers wonderful views in a very private setting. It is a 12 minute drive to Fivizzano so you’ll want to plan your groceries for the stay. There are hiking trails accessible right at the entrance gate. The host is very accommodating. If want a peaceful and relaxing stay this is a great choice.

Wonderful Month at "il Nido"!

Just spent the month of June at "il Nido. We had a wonderful trip. The location is truly spectacular!. Our host Luca was a terrific host. You hardly know he is there...in our case we enjoyed speaking with him and he provided lots of information on sites around Fivizzano. He had prepared food for us when we arrived and he brought food to us on 2 other occasions that was really tasty and a nice treat. I had a few issues with tolls and the rental car and he provided help to me. I can not say enough about how nice and generous the host is for this property. We were really sad when we had to leave...such a wonderful place. I highly recommend this property. We are from the country in Tennessee in the United States, and this location while being in Italy, really became home to us.

Luca is an amazing host, extremely helpful, and he made us feel very welcome. Luca cooked a meal ready for our arrival, which was very tasty - even tho we arrived an hour later than anticipated. Much appreciated and still very edible . The property is quite remote and the track leading to the house is narrow, winding and steep. We hired a 7 seater Ford Tourneo (Diesel), it really struggled getting up the track and you’re best off in a 4x4. The treadmill, in the gym, is dangerous - the stop button doesn't function!! The bicycles are not roadworthy they are rusty with flat tyres. There is a stray dog that Luca has adopted, she is well behaved but has taken over some of the furniture and can get under your feet. - not ideal for those who aren’t keen on dogs or who are allergic to them.’ Allow plenty time when driving around as the roads are winding and fairly narrow. The accommodation is a bit tired and requires some updating – curtain poles falling off the wall, shower brackets broken. The shower water pressure is low and would intermittently stop flowing. The beds very hard and uncomfortable and creaky. Cooking facilities are limited, with lack of utensils and no storage cupboards for holding food, also the dishwasher doesn’t work correctly The swimming pool is great. However the pool ladder is a bit tricky to negotiate.

Eine traumhafte location in den Bergen, die Aussicht war ein Traum und der riesige pool hat nicht nur uns Erwachsene begeistert sondern vorallem unsere Kinder. Haus und Wohnküche haben uns absolut ausgereicht und wir haben die schöne Zeit mehr als genossen. Wunderschöner Ausblick

Unser Urlaub im September durften wir in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbringen. Es liegt etwas Abseits aber dafür mit einem unvergleichlichen Ausblick auf die Berge. Haus ist 1 zu 1 wie auf den Bildern bzw im Text. Einrichtung ist einfach aber stimmend zum Haus gehalten, es ist aber alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Pool und Sauna sind auch klasse. Aber das beste ist einfach Luca der Besitzer des Hauses. Er ist ein super angenehmer Mensch, sowas liebes und hilfsbereites haben wir noch nie erlebt. Hält sich stets im Hintergrund auf aber ist immer zu erreichen und wenn man Fragen oder Tipps braucht hat er super Informationen über die Gegend. DANKE Luca !!!!!! Text.Text.

Wunderbar erholsamer Urlaub zusammen mit Freunden

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Das Haus hat eine traumhafte absolut ruhige Lage mit einem großen Pool. Einfach paradiesisch. Es gibt eine super Aussenküche mit großer Sitzgelegenheit, so dass wir alle immer zusammen kochen und essen konnten. Es ist alles recht schlicht, aber mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Es war sehr sauber, von unserer Seite aus gab es gar nichts zu beanstanden. Der Pool wurde jeden morgen von Lucca dem Besitzer gereinigt, der Müll morgens geleert und bei Fragen oder Tipps war Lucca stehts für uns erreichbar. Das Haus liegt abseits, bis zur nächsten Ortschaft sind es ca. 15 Fahrminuten. Wir haben die ruhige Lage genossen, auch den 3 Kindern war es nie langweilig. Die beiden Esel und auch Panda der Hund waren eine tolle Unterhaltung für uns. Wir würden sofort wieder Ferien in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft verbringen. Vielen Dank an Lucca für seine Gastfreundschaft. Der Besitzer Lucca ist großartig.

Sehr schöne und ruhiges, großes Ferienhaus mit super Pool

Der Gastgeber Luca ist ein sehr netter und aufgeschlossener Mann, der einem die Wünsche ansieht und immer eine Antwort bzw. eine Lösung hat. Das Haus liegt inmitten der Natur. Meine komplette Familie hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Toller Urlaub!

Wir haben das lange Wochenende sehr genossen! Mega Aussicht, saubere Unterkunft und ein super lieber und gastfreundlicher Luca. Perfekt

Wir - 6 Menschen und 4 Hunde - haben in diesem schönen Haus inmitten der Natur wunderbare Tage verbracht. Einerseits findet man völlige Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe, andererseits gibt es in der näheren Umgebung auch sehr viel zu entdecken. Luca ist die gute und (fast) unsichtbare Seele des Anwesens, den man nur als Frühaufsteher überhaupt mal zu Gesicht bekommt. Und neben allen möglichen Tätigkeiten am und um das Haus, wie Müllentsorgung und tägliche Reinigung des eigenen 20-Meter(!)-Pools etc. sowie einem kleinen Willkommenspaket mit Wein und toskanischen Spezialitäten, gibt er unzählige Tipps für Unternehmungen in der gesamten nördlichen Toskana und ist für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar. Und wer einfach lieber die Seele baumeln lassen möchte, findet garantiert einen Lieblingsplatz, ob im angenehm kühlen Haus, dem nahen Wald oder eben am riesigen Pool, dem besonderen Highlight, das einem während des Aufenthaltes dort ganz allein gehört. Für uns alle - und insbesondere auch für unsere Hunde, die auf dem umzäunten Grundstück den ganzen Tag frei laufen konnten - eine kleine toskanische Perle, in die wir bestimmt irgendwann zurückkehren werden. Danke Luca für diesen wunderschönen Urlaub...

Ausblick der alles Übertrifft

Nach der abenteuerlichen Anreise über den privaten Weg zum Haus, wurden wir sofort von dem herrlichen Panoramablick überwältigt. Das Haus ist etwas älter, hat aber unheimlich viel Charme. Es gibt 3 eigenständige Zimmer, die durch eine Tür zum Flur geschlossen werden können und jeweils über ein eigenes Bad verfügen. Es ist wirklich sauber dort. In unserem Zimmer im Bad gab es leider keine Möglichkeit Handtücher aufzuhängen, in den anderen Zimmern war aber ausreichend Möglichkeit vorhanden. Die Betten sind einfach, aber bequem - zumindest die Ehebetten. Es würde aber eine Erneuerung teilweise sicher nicht schaden... Wir haben Reisebett ausgeliehen, hat auch gepasst, aber ich würde empfehlen eine eigene Matratze mitzunehmen, das haben wir so gemacht. Die Küche liegt außerhalb vom Haupthaus, ein wenig wie eine Outdoor Küche, ist überdacht unter einer geschlossenen Pergola. Es ist zweckmäßig und wir haben uns gut arrangieren können. Von dort aus gelangt man auch zum Pool, der wirklich riesig und sauber ist. Der Eigentümer kümmert sich selbst um die tägliche Reinigung. Die Liegeplätze sind schön, auch hier könnte man bei Gelegenheit mal erneuern, aber es funktioniert und ist zweckmäßig. Was auf jeden Fall mal überholt werden sollte sind die Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse... Aber auch da kann man sich arrangieren. Der Eigentümer ist auf jeden Fall super sympathisch, nett, hilfsbereit und versorgt einen mit tollen Reisetipps zur Umgebung. Alles in allem war es wirklich Super!

Très bon séjour !

Nous sommes partis à 8 avec des amis, et nous avons passé de superbes vacances. Le gérant est très gentils et donne de précieux conseils. La vue de la maison est magnifique. Si vous voulez passer d’agréables vacances avec votre famille ou vos amis ce lieux est parfait !

Magnifique site en montagne

Site en montagne en pleine nature. Les enfants ont pu vivre avec la nature et animaux près de la maison. Piscine magnifique et extrêmement grande. Les chambres spacieuses. Le propriétaire donne beaucoup d'informations pour toutes la région selon nos besoins.

Skønt sted!

Vi har haft en fantastisk ferie. Huset ligger smukt med en vidunderlig udsigt. Poolen er virkelig skøn. Huset har 4 meget store soveværelser og er langt flottere end man kan se på billederne. Luca er en meget venlig og gæstfri vært. Der er en tur op ad bjerget til huset på ca. 4 km, men vejen er rigtig god, så det er ikke noget problem at køre derop. Hvis man kan lide at bo i fred og ro og nyde naturen, er dette et perfekt sted. Der er rigtig mange skønne steder i nærheden. Vi var i Pisa, i Lerici og så en borg i Fosdinova. Vi giver stedet vores bedste anbefalinger.

Endroit magique dans la montagne

Luca est un hôte extraordinaire .Toujours à l'écoute des clients et de très bons conseils pour les visites. Il est discret. La villa n'est pas moderne mais agréable à vivre. Quelques petites choses à améliorer comme le débit d'eau dans les chambres. La piscine est exceptionnelle et la vue imprenable. Un grand MERCI Luca

Entspannter Urlaub mit sensationellem Ausblick

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen, 4 Kindern und einem Hund zu Gast in Lucas schöner Villa. Das Haus liegt mitten in der Natur auf einer Bergkuppe - von hier aus hat man einen sensationellen Blick auf die wundervolle Bergwelt der Toskana. Nachts sieht man die Glühwürmchen fliegen und kann in einen besonders klaren Sternenhimmel blicken. Wer gerne in der Natur ist und Ruhe sowie Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war jedoch sehr sauber und bietet alles was man braucht. Der riesengroße Pool ist definitiv ein Highlight und wurde insbesondere von den Kindern rege genutzt. Luca ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, der uns bei Fragen und Problemen mit seiner herzlichen Art immer umgehend zur Seite stand - inklusive sehr wertvollen Tipps für Ausflüge. Dass er im Souterrain des Hauses wohnt nimmt man kaum wahr. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit! Grazie Mille Luca - wir kommen gerne wieder!
