Family accommodation in Downtown Los Angeles

Fantastic stay! The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great location — close to everything in DTLA. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Staff was very friendly and hotel was beautiful

I recently stayed at the Moxy for a conference at the LA convention center. The location could not be beat as it was literally across the street. I took a few stars off for location in general as that part of downtown Los Angeles can feel a little unsafe at night, which is good for other travelers to be aware of who are not as familiar with the area. Despite other reviewers saying how small the rooms are, and compare them to hostels, I did not feel that to be the case. I found the bed to be very comfortable, the room was stylish, and the hotel staff was helpful and welcoming. There is no closet in the room (you can only hang your clothes on hooks from the TV) but I did not find that to be a problem. I had a corner room on a high floor and the views were stunning. During the week, I did not hear any noise. Would recommend this hotel as long as you do not need a lot of extra amenities in your room.

Really enjoyed it. Wish they offered room service. And the music from the iPad to my TV didn't work, but that wasn't that big of a deal.
