There's no need to stress though. You'll be able to base yourself in Kerang. It's just 40 kilometres from Yando. Kerang accommodation options include the Acacia Rose Motor Inn and Kerang Valley Resort.

Attractions and Hotels Near Yando

If you've been gifted with the wanderlust gene (no duh, you're here right?), then you'll want to explore the wider Victoria region. History museums are a few sights that should be on your gotta-see list. If gorgeous landscapes are more your thing, visit the area's rivers, mountains and sandy beaches. Visitors with a good appetite for adventure can also fill their days with a little snowboarding in this part of Australia.

High heels or sandals? However you roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Koondrook, 55 kilometres away. With Gunbower National Park and the Border Flywheelers Club Inc. to check out, you're not gonna be short on things to do. The Murray Waters Motor Inn & Apartments and Barham Motor Inn are just some of the great hotel and apartment options here. Or, you could consider staying in Eaglehawk, 80 kilometres to the southeast of Yando, where you can pick from the Comfort Inn Julie-Anna and Quest Schaller Hotel Bendigo. If you stay in Eaglehawk, set aside a little time to check out the Bendigo Racecourse and Bendigo Club.

You'll come across some great visitor attractions in Echuca. The Chanter Estate Winery and Military Museum, Great Aussie Beer Shed and Banyule Park State Forest are up there with the best. This regional hub is positioned 85 kilometres east of Yando and has a population of 19,000. Moama Bowling Club and the Ozmaze and Mini Golf are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some photo ops. There is a good number of available hotels in Echuca, with the Quest Echuca and Pevensey Motor Lodge topping the list.

On the plane? Going to pieces cos you haven't got accommodation at the other end? Don't stress! Chances are you'll be able to snap up a room at the Loddon River Motel. It's pretty close to Kerang Airport, which is 40 kilometres from Yando's centre.
