A sauna and a massage pool are good for travellers to relax their minds and bodies. Our two-room suite is spacious and big enough for three of us. The washing machine and dryer are perfect for our long trip. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. On arrival, we found and reported that the microwave didn't work, and the staff replaced it with a new one the next day. ^^

Good property in an excellent location. Be aware that it is loud overnight in terms of city traffic, car horns, and general public noise/shouting. Poor communication from front desk staff around parking arrangements in carpark led to a lot of wasted time and unnecessary stress. Also we were unable to login to the wifi and troubleshooting from calling reception was unsuccessful. Also note they charge an extra $100 “deposit”, which is not actually refunded!

Location was good and was a good size apartment. Bed was in bad shape which is the most important thing I want in a stay. The main areas you’d use were clean, shower etc but overall could improve in that area. Based on location and size it was value for money and I’ve booked again but hoping I get a better bed next time.

The York was fantastic. Big spacious apartment. Location is perfect for getting around to all parts of the city. Staff were friendly. Parking was so convenient with access directly to our floor so we didn’t need to carry our luggage everywhere. Pool area was lovely. Hotel was so clean. Loved the balcony to sit on and unwind. Highly recommend The York

The York by Swiss Belhotel is in a good location, 1 block from Wynyard train station.It is a 10 minute walk to The Rocks Market, The Harbour Bridge and The Opera House.A 10 minute walk in the other direction to Pitt St Mall.We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, large bathroom and a washing machine and drier.There is a pool,sun loungers,outdoor spa and a gym.

The views were fabulous from both balconies of this 25th floor 3-bed suite. Self-contained kitchen had some utensils but not a lot. Crockery etc was insufficient for a 5 person family. All bedrooms were generous and easy to live in. The lounge and dining areas were both spacious and well set up. Three internal doors had the door knobs broken off the doors and hanging loose which was annoying. Easy walk to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, CBD, The Rocks - all 10 to 15 minutes away maximum on foot. Having to go to a next door hotel for breakfast was unexpected but the buffet at Amora Hotel was 4-star and the kids filled up every morning. Overall the York was very good, just let down by some annoying issues of maintenance and kitchen provisions which can both be quickly and easily addressed

The rating of this property is misleading. I would rate this property as 2.5 to 3 Stars, the most and NOT 4.5 Stars as shown online, due to cleanliness. Our room was dusty. Didn't have the supplies (I had to ask the front desk). The comforter provided was stained and worn out. I requested a new blanket instead. But the location is really good. It is walking distance to everything.

Good location, beware could have noise pollution

Location is very convenient, apartment very spacious. We unfortunately had Saturday 7am-9am construction work, sounded like the jack hammer was right out our front door for over 2hrs. Beware if construction may be happening during your stay. We had no notice or notification of possible noise pollution. Windows are older style so even traffic noise travels

This property was recommended by a friend. We really liked it because it's an apartment and one can cook (if one wants to!), do laundry etc. We only used the kitchen for tea and coffee. However, I have to say the utensils, silverware, crockery provide is bare minimum! We were only two people yet we had to wash the cups/mugs/spoons etc. every time. If you're more people, beware. Some members of the staff were very helpful; others didn't seem to know much about the area; could be new employees. Overall, I would recommend this place - we may use it again if we visit Sydney!

Really enjoyed our stay. And we’d stay again. Quite a lot of street noise which didn’t bother us but could bother others. Great location for exploring central sights and access to circular quays. Easy to get to from airport. We had a problem with the aircon which was “fixed” but still made a noise during the night.
