Well located hotel, the rooms are somewhat dated and small, the bathrooms are poorly designed im 5’5 the shower was at my chest height, my friend 5’11 had to bend and sit in he bath to wash hair. There was no plug for the bath. The sink has a glass shelf which is inconvenient when cleaning teeth! You can’t fit the kettle under the sink tap. The hotel was noisy very poor insulation between rooms, and traffic noise was an issue throughout the night. The beds and pillows had no protectors on ! On the positive side we had two double beds in the room, the rooms were serviced daily, although the sheets weren’t changed only doubled up .. which I thought was odd There’s a Coles within an easy walk and plenty of places to eat nearby. Easy walk to museums, Anzac monument, the Rocks, Darling bay etc

Great location right in the CBD of Sydney. Excellent location for public transportation, food and restaurant options, shopping and entertainment. We loved it. Lovely clean room, serviced daily. Friendly staff. Nice pool and pool area for those hot days. We will be back again one day!!

I stayed in Room 1111 and there is ZERO internet wifi signal in the room. If you need wifi access you need to sit outside the room...next to the occupants of the room next door 1110 who also have zero Internet access. Don't bother telling the staff, they are completely disinterested in the issue. I asked for compensation as I paid for Internet access and was advised that Reception would speak to the manager and that's the last I heard of it. Reception exists to check in and check out which is a seamless process and anything beyond that......???

This location in Sydney offers fantastic accessibility for exploring the city, but my experience was a bit mixed. I found myself needing to request a room change due to an uncomfortable bed that had a noticeable bend in it. The decor felt quite dated, and some rooms had views that were unfortunately just of a cement wall. While the staff didn’t exude warmth, I did encounter quite a bit of noise from fellow guests, which added to the overall distraction. It's a spot with potential, but definitely needs some improvements.

Staff were rude on check in, had an issue with checking in as I booked in wotif. Staff weren’t happy to help us and kept arguing with us. Shower head was too low for my 6ft partner, the sink in the bathroom was too low and small for either of us. The lifts next to our room were very noisy and not safe.

3 female friends travelled to Syd to see Jesus Christ Superstar at The Capitol. 3single beds in superior suite. I have stayed at Metro Marlow prob more then a doz times and recomend it very often to others. The proximity to everthing is wonderful, even better now light rail stop a 1 minute walk away. Aghast on waking to find one of my guest with head in hands and sitting on a chair very distressed. She had thrown the doona/sheets back to check she hadnt left anything behind. I have no words.....the doona was so badly stained and in several places which suggests it had repeatedly been ignored. Never again would we stay there...absolutely sickening. My guest reported it to "someone" when we collected our luggage after having breakfast. ( no, we certainly did not eat at the establishment) As i havnt recieved an email acknowledging the situ in any way im not confident its been reported let alone addressed.

A/C was broken and the heat was unbearable. Wifi only worked outside of our room in common area. Hotel didnt offer anything in exchange we eventually convinced them to offer us breakfast. Location is cool but would not recommend otherwise.
