We cooked and did our washing in the apartment so that met our requirements. Location was great and helpful staff. The only thing that let it down was that we had to ask for more tea bags and toilet rolls they were great about topping up but really having to ask is annoying as you knew how long we where there for so this should have been enough for 2 people using the same type of tea/coffee milk etc and the room was serviced on day 3 or 4 or rubbish and only after we enquired if the linen was being changed did the front desk mentioned that they had this down for the second to last day of our week stay. They realised this wasn’t right and refreshed on day 4 or 5 which was better. They were great to fix things once raised and were helpful setting us up with Netflix as well so well done team. The apartment was clean enough but could have been better in some areas but didn’t affect our stay.

Pillows were uncomfortably too huge. There was a foul smell coming from the kitchen sink hole. otherwise room was clean, great to have a laundry. Some of our supplies weren't replaced after the clean but overall great.

Everything was in good condition no doubt, but the room layout was not conducive to a comfortable stay, as the bathroom was very small comparatively and too far from the bedroom. The location is convenient, however, it’s not the best place in town. The surrounding area just did not meet our expectations, as there seems to be some homeless people in the vicinity, which caused us to cut short our stay.

The experience at Meriton was stunning from start to finish. The staff were courteous and professional making a great first impression. The apartments are specious and beautifully presented. Pool gym spa and sauna facilities were set up well.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was advertised rith a city view, which in reality was the concrete walk of the building next door. Apartment had a large comfortable bed, with high pillows (can be changed), reasonably well equipped kitchen, balcony (looking onto said concrete walk). Leaking toilet was promptly fixed when reported, but should have been noted by cleaners. Shower was adequate but leaked water over the floor. Apartment was in OK condition, certainly not recently renovated, and not particularly good value (although I guess one has to accept that Sydney is overpriced - most we have paid for accommodation anywhere). That said apartment is well located, near metro, trains, buses and trams and close to more shops and cafes than you could explore. Found The Grounds in The Galeries really good for breakfast (take away menu, but seating available)

Beautiful apartment with clean amenities and nicely decorated with comfortable furniture to relax it. Views from our balcony were breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here as it so close to town hall, qvb,light rail and trains. Big winner with our guests as it was their visit to Australia.

Was visiting sydney for a conference for a Thu/Fri and decided to stay a few days before hand. Was looking a something that was self-service, with a kitchenette. Meritoin seemed to fit the bill Check in was relatively painless, organised, and personal. The front foyer at 3pm seemed slightly chaotic, with new checkins / people sitting in foyer with lots of foot traffic. The plus? A phoen call half way though my stay from the main desk, asking if everything was ok The negative? Their lift system.
