Overall our stay was great. Convenient location, lots of places to eat. Close to the Light Rail. Staff were pleasant. Only cons were that the bed was ordinary.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and warm nature. Then we were told we had a free upgrade which I never expected. The room was clean and spacious. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We will definitely continue to book in the future.

three attempts to find a good room, but the management aimed to please and also gave us a complimentary breakfast for the inconvienience Breakfast was very cramped around the tables, coffee machines were very slow and people were frustrated! I worked it out and on my second day had the measure of it. Staff at the desk were extremely helpful !

Linen and towels were very clean, however general cleanliness was below par. Glasses were grubby and no detergent or tea towels to wash and dry them. Toilet was clean, but bathroom tiles vanity etc had mould. Breakfast was ok, but very small area and not functional. Staff were very good

The Furama is in a former warehouse and has been thoroughly modernised. The staff were friendly, very helpful and approachable. The hotel is situated between Chinatown and Darling Centre and is a lively area. Being on the junction where the 2 tram routes cross makes transport to sites and Circular Quay a piece of cake and with an Opal transport card cheap and easy. The coffe machines at breakfast would benefit by repositioning but it is a minor observation. Highly recommended as the place to stay in Sydney

Gem of a hotel near Darling Harbour

This hotel is ideally situated 5 mins walk from the waterfront. The front desk , Manni ? Was great, but service let down by housekeeping and some front desk staff during our stay. Example requests for service were un necessarily ignored (or mis understood.) One issue was a serious cleanliness issue which took 3 days and multiple requests to resolve. This meant a 5 star review became 4 star as a result Overall we enjoyed our stay, location excellent and would stay again.
