Accommodation was older style but clean and comfortable, and there was a good variety at breakfast (scrambled eggs, baked beans, cereal, yoghurt, toast, fruit, etc.). Nice staff. We took the free transfer bus from the domestic (T2) to the international terminal (T1). Silkari is about 15-20 minutes walk from the international terminal (T1). Look for the overhead footbridge and cycleway on Level 1 of the P7 Car Park (the building next to Rydges Hotel). Take the blue coloured walkway over the top of the car park, and then walk alongside the river. Seemed safe during the day, but may be a bit deserted at night. Silkari have access to a shuttle bus which does airport transfers between 6.50am to 23.10pm at a cost of $13 per person each way.

It’s basic a bit worn and a bit of attention to detail would work as found old rubbish in the room from previous guests otherwise it’s ok, More info o. Shuttle services for latecomers o. The website otherwise it’s good for location and facilities.

The location was great for us - a 15 minute walk from airport (so good after our long flight) and 5 minutes to a large Woolies and Dan Murphys. The room was clean, large double bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but shower excellent. Traffic noise was annoying in our room early in the morning.

Staff support lacking. Arrived at 21.45, no elevator, at 22.00 the bar closed so no drinks before bed. The room is large and the bed good. The shower rose hang of the wall as well as the toilet roll holder, tile broken of the wall and we booked a shuttle to the domestic airport and got dropped of at the International and had to find our own way to the Domestic which was damned poor. The breakfast, at extra cost, was excellent. Would not go back to this motel. Picture is correct. Terrible lights.
