The De Vere Tortworth Court and The Speech House Hotel are your best options if you'd like to base yourself as close as possible to the main areas.

Hitting the hay in Berkeley is a nifty idea, as it's located only 3 kilometres away from the main streets. Book a room at The Malt House. It's the only place available in the area, so be quick!

You might also like to stay at the Calcot, which you can find 18 kilometres away. Or perhaps the Manor House Hotel and Golf Club, just a distance of 30 kilometres from Sharpness. Gloucester is located 25 kilometres away from Sharpness and has a population of 130,000. When you're there, you'd be crazy if you didn't check out Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre, the City Museum and the Gloucester Waterways Museum. Gloucester Cathedral and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops.
