The Thornbury Castle can be found in Wotton-under-Edge, 4 kilometres to the west. This terrific attraction is definitely worth the trip.

Bring a picnic so you can indulge in a relaxing lunch by the water at Barry Island Beach or Minehead Beach.

You won't need to journey too far to experience some pleasant natural sights. Load up the car and make your way to Wookey Hole, 50 kilometres away from Alderley, for a relaxed day. Or perhaps Cheddar Gorge and Caves is more your style? It's located just 50 kilometres away.
