Had a nice spa weekend with a group of friends, afternoon tea was not great as the sandwiches were not very fresh but they served a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Good spa facilities but it was quite busy so we could not get loungers for the first hour of being, which was disappointing.

2 single beds to make a big double. Zip running down the middle very uncomfortable 1 matress sunk the other was firmer. Spa was very full. Room.was cold. Told the desk they said heating comes on at 6. Room.was still cold. No other way of heatimg it. Still cold in the morning. Warmer by the door but by the beds was cold

The facilities at Hatherley manor were excellent, the breakfast and restaurant menu was sufficient for a short stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. However the music played through the day and evening was inappropriate for a relaxing experience and not in keeping with the ambience of the hotel. I would not return for this reason.

Would recommend!

Nice rooms, very very clean. Breakfast service was speedy and staff were very nice and helpful. Let down: on arrival we were not given full brief on timings of cafe/restaurants. We visited the spa and wanted to have some food straight after, where we asked a member of staff if it was open , they said yes, so we approached and then was told no, we stop serving food. Which is fine but would have been good to know on arrival of hotel, so we could plan our time around it. Other than that, definitely recommend this hotel. Staff over all are very good!!

Lovely area, property and grounds

Parking was easy and check in was smooth and efficient. The room was quite small but comfortable. Very comfortable bed which meant we slept well. We did have a problem with our key cards though. For some reason they worked once but then they wouldnt work again so we had to keep going to reception to get a new one. Breakfast was ok but we didnt have cooked. The spa was nice but there was nowhere to sit as all tbe loungers were being used. They could do with a few more seats really. The area around the poolside was extremely slippery. There were large pools of surface water as we walked around the pool and my husband actually slipped as we went in but luckily i caught his arm and stopped him from falling. It made me quite nervous after that.

We stayed here for a friends wedding. The property was beautiful and the staff were so focused on making sure we had a good experience. The team are very obviously proud of the work they do and it shows through in the high level of service. I’d definitely recommend this hotel .

The impressive property is set alongside fields and has an amazing, fully functioning spa. The staff are all very approachable and friendly. It was a let down by the vegan food - £14 for a salad where the lettuce was just iceberg, and the 24 hour menu contains NOTHING without meat / dairy. Even the hummus & pitta contains dairy, and the hummus was not available anyway for the entirety of our stay. Why don’t you just take it off the menu?

A beautiful hotel on the outside; however, the rooms are in need of some TLC and redecorating as there’s quite a lot of scuffs, cracks etc. Service was hit and miss, unfortunately - it really was luck of the draw on who you got!

Lovely location, super grounds and the lounge is beautifully comfortable - we would definitely go back. We didn't try the spa this time, although it was clearly a popular facility. On the downside - our room was quite noisy (lots of bumping around from outside and we knew every time someone next door turned on their water...) and looked overdue for redecoration and modernisation. Service was friendly and efficient at breakfast and in the bar.

Lovely stau

We had a lovely stay at the Haverley. The Spa was a little busy in the afternoon but the hotel was full. The Thyme restaurant was lovely on the evening. Our room was beautiful and even though it was on the front of the hotel was quiet.

We booed a 2 night stay, due to an event being held on the first night they asked us to move rooms for night one and then move to our booked room for night 2. We agreed on the basis that we could move out and check into the new room at the same time on day 2. However the rooms were not ready and we were left without anywhere to go. When we were finally able to access our room it was above a function room where they were holding a white collar boxing event. The noise and profanities emanating from the function were such that we could t hear the tv. So we retired to the bar only to find it fu of patrons of the boxing event, who were unable to get served at the bar and were kicking off to the point that security had to be called to break up the disturbance. What was supposed to be a relaxing and restorative stay was seriously lacking.

The hotel was ok but could be improved. Rooms were clean but had no long length mirrors even though there is plenty of wall space to put some on! Really inconvenient There was hardly any vegan or vegetarian options on the breakfast menu not even vegetarian sausages which is disappointing too for a 4 star hotel
