I’m always grateful for the hardworking employees of the resorts. The entertainment team were the only group of workers that made our experience enjoyable. With that said, this resort was subpar than other all inclusive resort I have had the opportunity to stay at. Time share information needs to be disclosed. Made a bad impression to start.
While dining, the patrons are unable to access water on their own. 90% of our dining experiences water and refills were asked for and more often than not requests ignored. Chaotic seat placement in buffet. Staff pointed to where parties were to sit. There are often 10 possible tables in that area pointing is unhelpful. Tables were not turned over prior to seating. People are patient allow staff to provide excellent service and allowing them to clean between groups. Food in buffet was lukewarm at best. I understand food is being prepared in mass quantities, however, there is a great potential for food borne illness with the way some food is left out. Patrons are eating off their plates, with their hands while waiting and serving them selves. This has a huge potential for Norovirus. Staff should be firm on this should they observe this.
I recognize most of the resort is outside. There is signage stating no smoking. This needs to be enforced. There needs to be smoking areas designated throughout the resort. Poolside, bar side, theater area. This is unacceptable. I would not reserve rooms at this resort again.
