My stay at this resort in the Dominican Republic was generally enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the air vents needed maintenance — I experienced some sneezing until I covered them myself.
Room service was excellent: fast, courteous, and consistent. The hotel shops and casino were also outstanding and added great value to the stay.
However, I was disappointed with the resort credit policy, as I was not able to use it at the spa as I had planned. I was also celebrating a birthday and requested a cake, but the staff was not accommodating. In addition, making a spa appointment was frustrating — staff even asked for a tip to check availability, which was unprofessional.
Overall, it was a good stay, but not an excellent one. With better staff training, clearer policies, and improved maintenance, this could easily be a five-star experience.
