This was our first stay (January 2025) in the Dominican Republic and we chose Majestic Colonial based on reviews. We were so happy and pleased with the size and cleanliness of our accommodations, we have rebooked for our next trip in November 2025. The property is so beautifully kept, the staff were so professional and polite we can't wait to go back. The beach was breathtaking.

Beautiful beach, delicious food, and outstanding entertainment. you can never get bored! The staff, including the entertainment team, are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make your vacation memorable. The only concern was the toilet flush, which seemed slow and didn’t work properly in both of our rooms. However, this didn’t bother us much since we spent most of our time outside by the pool, beach, lobby, and theater, where there was always something fun happening!

We had a fantastic honeymoon at Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana. The beach was fine white sand and the water crystal clear. The rooms were clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The swimming pools and swim up bars were beautiful. Lots of dining choices with variety. The entertainment at night was terrific. Outstanding entertainers, musicians, dancers, singers. Great attention to detail and everyone there is committed to making your stay unforgettable. We had our own butler who made dinner reservations and answered any questions we had. I would rate this hotel a 10 out of a possible 10.

The food and entertainment is amazing. The beach is beautiful. Drinks are fabulous. Pool clean. Entertainment the Dominican show and Michael Jackson was fun—lots of activities for everyone. Buffets are fantastic.

This resort is beautiful, but I would not return. The service was not good. It took way too long to get a drink, and one dinner took almost 3 hours! If you stay too long at a table, the staff would hover over you rather rudely. I've never seen "service" like this in any resort I've stayed in. It's a shame because the resort itself is very pretty.

the hotel is nice. very nice beaches, food always the same but generally ok. too many local vendor's trying to sell fake cigars. fake fashion handbags, massage and more. being on vacation I want to rest and not be constantly bodder by local beach vendors who become very pushy and don't even want to hear no for an answer, they are everywhere on the beach right next to the hotel in every place, I have never seen anything like this in any resort. Lobby need a training how to do theirs job faster. check in took as long 3 Hr. , no beach entertaimnet,, very boring

Good hotel but nothing to brag about. Everything was good except housekeeping. The towels were old and even looked dirty when clean. My sheet was also stained. I left a note for it to be changed and the housekeeping came twice/day and still didn't change it for 3 days. Very poor service. Except for housekeeping, the staff is friendly and professional.
