Overall it’s a good and relaxing experience, but the service is sometimes not the most professional: the room service is usually slow and some ordered items are missed upon delivery. When I check in, there’s also left over plate from the last customer.

We stayed in the Excellence Club side of this resort. The club gives you a separate side to the resort with two club-only pools, hot tubs, beach, dining room, and very attentive service from the staff. We stayed in Building 1 junior suite with its own private pool facing the beachfront club pool. We only used our own pool a couple of times since the club pool was literally right there. Housekeeping came twice daily and restocked whatever you used. The room was always damp but we learned too late that you can ask for a dehumidifier. There was a jetted tub in the room that we never used. The food reminded us of what you get on a small cruise ship. The main dining was the same buffet every day. It was just okay. All specialty restaurants are included without having to make reservations except for the hibachi "show" which was underwhelming. The club-only restaurant was good. We visited the cafe frequently for lattes and the occasional pastry. Be sure to check the dress code before you pack. The property is beautiful. The design of the property is well planned and easy to walk. Guests were pleasant and respectful to each other and the staff. Entertainment was like a small cruise ship. Bring your small bills for tips. Its proper to tip for every meal, when you get drinks or even order at the cafe counter. Shopping is minimal for souvenirs. A 10 minute Uber will give you to more options. Definitely use Seasons for your airport transfer. A+ service. Very relaxing and enjoyable st

The staff was amazing, especially Jose who goes by the name “Blade”. He was very friendly and welcoming. Although I can say the staff was awesome, unfortunately I was taunted while there by others. Meaning someone accessed my room and went through my belonging and I even got a call after midnight asking if I wanted champagne delivered to my room. Aside from those incidences, I enjoyed the hotels food, entertainment, and amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff makes "Excellence, Excellent. I truly hope the Owners/Franchise/CEO takes care of the individuals who work for them, without them it wouldn't be what it is. Although everyone was AMAZING a few names stood out to us Beni, Jonathan, Edwin (Servers) Neicy (Host) & Jesus & Hector Front desk. All of them made our trip feel so special & truly "Thank" them for that. We loved all the food/restaurants this resort had to offer. Spice was our favorite! 10/10 recommend them all though as every single one is delicious. Shows in the evening were spectacular. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, house keeping was so kind and AMAZING. The only thing that broke my heart was seeing others on vacation not tip. If you can't afford to leave a few dollars after these kind souls waited on you and took care of you their entire night then stay home and go work for free on your own time. I understand It's an all inclusive resort & tipping isn't mandatory, but come on now. Some people just suck, but not all of us. 😊 I appreciated every soul & every smile. The property was absolutely stunning even with seaweed the staff had it cleaned up so well everyday. The nightlife is fun it’s very Versatile, you can have a chill night or a very fun club feel like. The food was good but the chef Isabelle and magna restaurant were unforgettably amazing. The staff are so personable and would come and treat us like family/friends. Our favorites where XC Leidy, jose(Blade), and Daniel(Mr.Chocolate). I’m sad to leave wish I stayed longer next time at least a week!

We just spent 6 lovely days at Excellence Punta Cana for our honeymoon and we are so sad to leave this beautiful resort! Firstly, the staff here are wonderful, so helpful, kind and welcoming! They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! For the first 2 nights, we stayed in room 2210, an Excellence club Junior ocean view suit, with a wonderful view of the ocean. For the remaining 3 nights, we stayed in room 1005, an Excellence club private pool suite. Both were wonderful and the rooms and amenities were identical. The only difference was the ocean view or private pool. Our pool was the highlight of our stay. We swam in it multiple times a day and night and the temperate was perfect! The size was great for dips and relaxation. Our room came with hydrotherapy and we enjoyed this experience! The grounds are clean, Tropical and beautiful. The food at Magna for dinner and The Kitchen for breakfast and lunch was great! I especially loved the large spread of fresh fruit, omelette station at breakfast and the made to order Mediterranean station at lunch! We loved every meal we had for dinner at Magna and the Tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly for us to share! At the French restaurant, we loved the lamb! Oregano is a good lunch option and Lobster was decent. We didn’t get to try The Grill or Agave! The entertainment was fun and the highlights were the Circus and Michael Jackson shows! We will definitely be back!

This was a great resort, the staff was so friendly, the pool was well kept and there was always entertainment if you wanted it. The food was also pretty good. The only downside was there was too much seaweed to go into the ocean.

amazing resort! check out the girl if you’re able too. 10/10 food. Moses at Sol Bar is an absolute GEM!!!!!! he made our trip 100x more worth it. the staff in general is unreal. amazing view, amazing food, amazing staff! it will not disappoint. also, if you get to stay when pure energie is playing at the theater- you’ll have a blast!

Very impressed with this place it was beyond my expectations from the moment I walked it felt like home the whole staff was super friendly everyone enjoyed working there. The food was very good with different options available. Over all 10/10 will definitely be back next time and will be bringing my whole family.

Absolutely stunning. Check in was a breeze, Evgar truly went above and beyond to welcome us. At check in, he booked us a special dinner reservation at The Magna restaurant for my husband's bday. Although reservations are not required, they truly made this dinner special with rose pedalled table, a "happy bday" plaque and a mini cake.The resort has a vast array of restaurants and I was expecting average buffet food, but let me tell you the food was delicious. The resort app was convenient to see restaurant menus, hours of operation and also their dress code. For the most part, casual clothing is required, no flip flops or tank tops. Some restaurants require pants and collared shirts for men.The room was over the top with a jacuzzi, lots of snacks and drinks, and all necessary toiletries, including a toothbrush and toothpaste. Our pool was not at all crowded and had crystal clear blue water. We saw workers treating the pools overnight, and cleaning both the pool and all lounge chairs each morning. The beach view was amazing, and there are plenty of lounge chairs with shade available. Despite the surge of seaweed, it was cleaned off each morning. If you walk down the beach to either side of the hotel, you will find local shops with extremely affordable souvenirs and massages for 1/4 of the cost compared to the hotel shops and services. We purchased lots of souveniers from Carmen and Pedro's shop at "Wal-mart" and also from the shop on th eopposite side of the hotel.
