We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Lunasol. The property is well-maintained and clean. Its location is convenient, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the bus station, and the ferry terminal. It's also far enough from the busy Quinta Avenida, making it relatively quiet at night. On a few occasions, we could hear music from a nearby bar, but it was faint and never disruptive.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, assisting with excursion arrangements and answering our questions.
We appreciated a few key features of the hotel: the quiet and effective AC (we have been in other hotels where the AC unit was so loud it would wake us up at night), the pleasant courtyard with a pool and waterfall, the fully equipped kitchen, and the cold bottled water available in the lobby 24/7. We found it convenient to refill our own bottles, which was both cost-effective and eco-friendly. They also provided beach towels, which could be exchanged for fresh ones every day—perfect for our beach outings.
Overall, Hotel Lunasol provided a comfortable stay, and we would consider returning on a future visit.
