Staff were very knowledgeable and kind, area was conveniently located, rooms were bright and huge with neat amenities like workout equipment and lighting. Only complaint was the shower which had a cool handle but was difficult to work and didn’t maintain temperature. The shower curtain placement also meant the water leaked though this seems to be an issue at a lot of hotels.

Rooms are always clean and for being open a couple years the rooms are kept updated and free from damage or stains. Overall just a nice motel for the cost. Walkable to restaurants, PNC park and Heinz field.

The Even Hotel in Pittsburgh

Initial parking was a bit confusing. You must park on Cherry St (across from the entrance-pink P) and very little luggage drop off area. However, once you get to registration their friendliness and hospitality help you forget the parking mess! The staff is wonderful! Jordan, Tammy, Romona, Jessica, Hervie, Natty and AJ make you feel right at home-which if like us-became the Atrium and workout/game rooms. So beautiful and serene. Just to sit and talk with your loved ones or to play ping pong (btw, they need new paddles). Great room for that!! Bruno made wonderful drinks, however bar is limited in stocking options, so if you have a favorite…bring it. Food options are also limited. No real Restuarunt to speak of, however, their coffee is awesome and the servers are attentive and helpful. All in all a great experience and we will stay there again.

convenient to downtown

It was convenient to downtown. Got assistance on where to find laundry services. Parking was reasonable and just across the street. Very happy with this hotel.

They had to change my room due to appliances not working and told me that i was getting a comparable room. The room they sent me to was significantly smaller and had a window to the atrium. It was very noisey. I was not happy. And they looked me straight in the face and told me it was the same room when it was not. Only after and in depth discussion with the front desk did they agree the room they moved me to was a significant downgrade. Had I not said anything i would have been charged the price for the more expensive room. It ended up being a little over $400 refund. I will not be staying here again.

Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Decor is fun and modern. You do hear the city noise since the hotel is only on the 5th and 6th floors so it’s not great if you are a light sleeper.

It is within easy walking distance to Point Park University. I chose to include their breakfast option with our reservation. I was very pleased with their menu. The staff was very professional and happy to help us.
