The room, bed and building were top notch. The staff were gossipy, focussed on socializing with each other and seemed to avoid guest needs. Examples: I cleaned my own tables in the morning while staff visited with each other. My wife and I stood aside while staff not only occupied the elevator but kept the door open and blocked it chatting with each other etc.

Nice hotel,some things did not work out well

The room was too hot and the thermostat despite being adjusted ,did not bring the temperature down The furniture configuration placed the television on the side of the bed,great difficulty to watch it sitting up in bed! The TV remote control butteries were almost finished ,you could not change the channel s from the distance.. Breakfast was ok,but the dishes and cutlery were plastic..

Did not appreciate that there is a TV channel guide beside the TV but those channels don’t work - a HUGE challenge when travelling with children. When I spoke to staff they said they changed their provider so the channel guide is not accurate. So why put them in the rooms? Very misleading. Also housekeeping came by when we were just getting ready to go to breakfast. Said she’d return in 30 minutes. She didn’t. So we left the hotel so that she could clean our room and remove the garbage. 3 hrs later - no housekeeping. We had a need to use the bed to put a small sleepy child to sleep but just as we did that housekeeping showed up. Rather than risk missing out on the service we left with a cranky child. It was not acceptable that the room was not made up when it should have been. Breakfast is okay. Wifi was poor. And the sign in for wifi was very confusing. If following the instructions it asked for lots of personal details. Which we didn’t want to give. So called front desk and they said to ignore all of those personal questions and scroll to the bottom. Why didn’t they tell us that originally? I liked the hotel but these few things made a great stay just so-so. Wanted to give the kids a fun time away (with a pool) during the March break but it was less than great for these reasons (had to use phone for YouTube for the kids shows) and with poor internet it was not good at all!

Broken pool and treadmill

When I make a hotel reservation, I usually pick one with a gym and swimming pool.Unfortunately, the treadmill wasn't working and the pool wasn't open. The stay was totally ruined because there was no notice on the website where the reservation was made about those damages
