I booked a room online for my employee. She has a bad allergy to strong fragrances and can not breathe in areas with strong smells. The Inn had FOUR air fresheners installed around/in her room, but the staff/manager refused to remove them. They gave her a fan and told her to open the outside door, but it was freezing outside! She couldn't stay, and the manager refused a partial refund. The staff rudely asked her if she was leaving already as she waited for her ride to pick her up! I understand I should have verified if the Inn used fragrances, but the level of service was very disappointing. I'm never booking here again.

I couldn't get my safe to work -- told the front desk by phone & no one came up to help me. I told them 2 more times in person that I thought the battery was dead & it was never fixed. & Front desk staff seemed more interested in conversing on the telephone while I stood in front of him rather than greeting me & checking me in. I DID really like the room -- no carpet & it felt clean. I also liked the kitchenette with a great kettle, real dishes and utensils AND real mini milks & creams for coffee/tea. There was coffee and tea always available in the breakfast area too. And a code to be buzzed in as a guest from outside, so it felt safer. It's also within a quick walk to lots of food, a big mall, and Rideau canal! For skating! Id stay here again. Great value

I love this place! good sized rooms, very new and clean, beautiful art in the stairwells (don't take the elevators or you will miss it), awesome breakfast with very good coffee. Next time I am in Ottawa, I will be staying here! Very reasonable price as well. Great value all round!
