Shaw Club is Perfect for a Shaw Visit

It was the perfect location for our three show theatre weekend. We love visiting the Shaw Festival but parking isn't always easy to find so were delighted with the onsite parking here. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. Appreciated the free coffee and hot chocolate in the lounge. Staff were attentive and friendly. Also enjoyed the convenience of popping into Zee's for a fresh and tasty lunch.

I have paid much less money for a much better hotel room in my life, but that being said, every hotel (and restaurant ) in Niagara on the Lake is overpriced. The property is dated and our room needs renovating badly. There was no hot water in the shower in the morning. The under window air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The mini fridge in the room made a trickling sound all night long. There are zero USB ports in the room, so bring a few cubes if you want to charge your devices. The pillows on the bed were way too hard. I’m not normally a complainer, but for almost $350 a night, I’d expect much, much better than this. It’s a great location if you’re going to see a show at the Festival Theatre, and the front desk staff were lovely.

A bit disappointed in my room.

The staff were friendly and the check in process was a breeze. I didn't eat at the restaurants but heard great things about them. The room was nicely stocked with a coffee maker and a small fridge. I had a club room above the Thai restaurant. I didn't know what a club room was when I booked it and there doesn't seem to be photos of them in this site. The room was incredibly hot when I arrived and the AC didn't work at all to cool it down. The AC is definitely broken in the room I was in. The toilet leaked and needs repairs so it doesn't "self-flush" every 45 mins or so. I didn't find the bed overly comfortable - because it's a very soft mattress. I much prefer firm but this is a personal choice. I was pretty disappointed with these issues considering the price paid. The rooms should everything in working order at the minimum.

It is a fantastic place to stay. This is the only hotel that I have decided to stay twice. Very friendly staff, great room with a fireplace, and easy to walk around and explore.

Fantastic hotel. Staff were friendly and check in a breeze. Room was clean and quiet. Updated. Close proximity to downtown and shopping. Onsite restaurant was quaint and food was very good at a reasonable price. Price of accommodations was also reasonable. We would stay here again.
