It’s changed. I hate to be that person. I got a room next to the gym (great no problems as I used it and that was super convenient). Start with the dealbreaker: no hot water. It would constantly remain lukewarm so it wasn’t enjoyable to bathe. The room also did not get warmer adjusting the thermostat and combined with the cold shower, heating was definitely off. I stayed one night so didn’t bother to call but paired with the older room with lots of scratches, the experience has gone down. Still very grateful they allow dogs for free and it’s our selling point and staff is kind but the rooms and quality are not great anymore.

The staff was top notch and so helpful! Upon arrival they gave us a bottle of champagne for our wedding. Room service was quick and excellent. I am giving the review 3 stars though because we had two issues. One issue was that we stayed in the liberty suite and it was fairly outdated in some ways (carpeting and scratched wooden floors) and there was a huge cockroach that I stepped on in the middle of the night. Another major issue was that the lights didn’t work in the living room, where we had the city view wedding ceremony/marriage license signing. The lights flickered off right when we were about to start and wouldn’t turn back on. It was night out so that was an issue but thankfully we had plug in lamps in the bedroom that we pulled over to compensate. Still not sure how the professional photos turned out because of that. We called for tech but nobody ever came. Overall, not worth $2k+ for the night and would have preferred another comparable hotel room for the price elsewhere.

This hotel was great! So close to great Chelsea neighborhood gems (Chelsea market, Little Island, High Line); Staff was amazing. Loved the different restaurants and seating areas.
