I stayed at the Moxy off Ann Street in the Financial District during NYC Marathon weekend, and it was an excellent experience. The location couldn’t have been better — I was able to sleep in a little before catching the train (just two stops) to the ferry for Staten Island on race morning. The staff were super friendly and approachable, and the room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for a solo traveler or couple. It had all the basic amenities I needed for a short getaway. There are also plenty of great food spots nearby, and the train is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. The overall vibe of the hotel was really chill and social — I met all kinds of people visiting for the marathon and other events. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a convenient, fun, and comfortable stay in lower Manhattan.

The hotel was pleasant and conveniently located to the venue. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and a joy to work with. We enjoyed the lounge/restaurant area with all the amenities. The food was good! The only issue was the elevator that dropped every single time you came down. Sort of reminded me of the drop zone, unpleasant but not a dealbreaker. Definitely would stay again!

Great location. Very convenient to numerous subway stations. They do charge a daily fee and give part of it back to you as a voucher. That was the only annoying thing. Other than that this is a great option for a visit to Manhattan.
