Other than the size of the room and location, I didn’t find anything exceptional about the hotel. I didn't appreciate housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am asking me what time I was checking out when they should have had it on the system. I also didn’t appreciate having $30 per night docked onto the final bill and be given drinks vouchers as I don’t drink alcohol. Overall I found it a sub par experience and probably expected more from the brand the hotel operated under.

What happened to this place? I lost $1700 on this room as I checked out only hours after checking in and they kept my money for the week. Giant stain in the middle of the room, dirty, soaking wet blanket on the bed. This place is a dump! And it’s listed as a 4-star hotel. It’s NOT! The area outside is riddled with homeless panhandlers and scam artists. Stay away from this place and NYC while you’re at it.

A sad visit to NYC made better by the staff.

We' traveled to NYC for a funeral of a close family member. Due to unforeseen traffic, we arrived at the hotel 45 minutes before the services were set to start. The front desk not only got granted us early check-in, but the young lady also who helped us, completed the process in record time - and got us a complimentary upgrade. Everything was great, but the people made the real impact. Top to bottom, they were great, friendly, accommodating and happy to help their clients. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to NYC!
