really nice stay, nothing bad to day

It started very badly with Satnav sending us to a pedestrianised deadend at the waterfront. However with telephone assistance from the Ark staff we eventually found the entrance which is set back from the road. We stayed in a tiny double bed studio, probably the smallest we have ever seen. It was however perfect for our stay and was very well fitted out and spotless. The pool and spa was stunning and with incredible views from the 20th floor to the O2. Staff qere helpful, lifts a high tech joy and all in all extremely good value. Access to all areas via the adjacent light railway station was a huge benefit for getting around. We would stay again and now we know where the entrance is it will be even better!

Clean room

The room was clean overall, but I experienced a few issues during my stay. There was a very loud water noise in the room, and the TV was not working on the first night. When I contacted reception, I was informed that no maintenance staff was available overnight and that I would need to wait until the next day. Eventually, around 11 PM, I requested and received a room change. Otherwise everything was perfect. Location was amazing with thames river view and 2 minutes walking to Bus stop.

I didn’t enjoy it as much as previous stays. The two women on reception when I arrived were great. The guy who made my tea on day 2 didn’t seem to know what he was doing, couldn’t find the milk and made the worst tea ever, which I paid for. That morning I felt hassled 6 times by other staff when I’d booked an extra night. I had to keep explaining and in the end went to reception. First the guy knocked 4 times and then a woman asking the same thing. Previously, it was better.
