I liked very much Magetic Island, the property itself - people were very kind and supportive, very quite place, great escape for busy life.
Great place but started lawn mowing in front of room at 7:00am then whipper snipper and blower. Finished at 10:00am.Hopefully this doesnt happen everyday.

Before this, the island was home to European settlers, and , various Aboriginal groups lived on the island even earlier. Magnetic Island National Park is the perfect place for hiking, climbing, and nature spotting – covering over half of the island, gorgeous natural scenery is never too far away! With a large koala population, it is also one of the best places in the whole of Australia for watching these furry cute critters in the wild. Relax on the sandy beaches and swim in the deliciously cool ocean. The waters are also teeming with fish, so it’s great for keen fishing enthusiasts. Picnic Bay Jetty is another great spot for chilling out. A couple of old fortresses from World War II provide historical sightseeing and a number of spas and beauty salons mean that relaxing at the end of a busy day is made even more special.
